I’ve been one week in Ibis Shopping Curitiba. The breakfast, the staff was very welcoming but I felt like the bathroom kit could be better, besides that I’ve stayed at the 23rd floor and I wasn’t able to use the WiFi connection and it lack of hot water in the last day and was very cold in Curitiba. Since it was a business trip WiFi connection is crucial.

In general the hotel is very good and comfortable, having all the necessary items. In my stay I only saw two items that I would mention for improvement. One is a suggestion. In this case is to make water available at the fridge. The recommendation is in regards to the shampoo that is supposed to be available at the shower. In my room, it was empty and was not replenished during my stay.

The bed had several hairs on it. The reception area doesn't have bed sheets.

The hotel has a good location, but the male staff member at the front desk was very indifferent. They first asked for my name in Portuguese, but I didn't hear them clearly. Then they asked me in English, and I provided my passport. The receptionist just shook his head helplessly, and I felt disrespected, even discriminated against.

The experience you describe is definitely not the standard we strive to offer. Thank you immensely for bringing your feedback to our attention. Thirteen people waiting in line during check-in. The two check-in employees were tired and couldn't handle the situation. A couple with three children ahead of us argued and yelled at the attendants because they had booked the couple and the children under 10 years old into apartments on different floors. There was no priority line for people with special disabilities, which is not in accordance with Brazilian law. Poor personnel management. The only person prepared and qualified for the job was working at the bar.

Satisfied with room. Clean and newish. I had dinner at the restaurant and will stay at another hotel next time. Waiters dint come to the table and pretend they don't see you calling them. I had to stand and go to counter to ask for drinks, then food etc.
