I booked this hotel in August 2025 for my stay on 17th June, 2026;for 3 nights. At 15 00 on 17th June( by this time I was already on my way to Niîmes) I received an email from the hotel stating they were cancelling my booking for the first night and had booked me at the Novotel at Nîmes and then for the remaining two nights I could stay at the Ibis Styles. I immediately phoned the Ibis Styles and explained I was very annoyed and that this had been booked 10 months ago. I also explained I was travelling alone and therefore at 9 30 pm would have to find the Novotel. They said the booking was cancelled and there was nothing they could do about it. I then phoned the Novotel to find out that no booking had been made there for me. I then phoned the Ibis Styles again and they said there was nothing they could do about do. I told them I wanted it in writing that I definitely had a booking at the Novotel.In the meantime I contacted Accor hotels via Facebook messenger. After that I received a phone call from the Ibis Styles hotel saying they had managed to find a room for me at their hotel. When I arrived they explained that my room was going to be made available for a person on a German coach tour but this person hadn’t turned up. Once I was at the hotel everything went well, staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfasts were very good.

The hotel is ideally located next to the station and easy walking distance from the Roman sites. Staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and there is a wide choice of good food at breakfast. The only drawback was that the large bed almost completely filled the room with only a narrow space around it. This was fine for one night but there was nowhere to relax in the room apart from the bed.
