Should have gone for the budget - not even clean

Rooms are equipped to the bare minimum. Shower is litterally in the room, so is the sink, at least there is a door for the toilets. No boiler, no bottle of water, no tea/cofee in the room, not even a minibar, breakfast is OK. Moreover, rooms were barely cleaned for dust. We moved the two single beds about 10cm appart and found a rests of a cigaret, hair, and quite the amount of dust, just 5cm further under the bed, which should have been removed if only the underside of the bed had been vacuumed. In a covid context, this is simply unacceptable, but generally speaking it takes 15 seconds to clean a tiny room like this with a vacuum cleaner, why not clean it properly ? One night only, I'll never come back.

Violating covit rules / a lot of small which are not allowed in a 4 star hotel for that price

I was really amezed when I saw the night wait comming out of the kitchen and first put his mask, when he arrived at the desk. You have to know, the night wait was preparing the breakfast. People still doesn't understand it. If there is one place, you have to wear it, is it in the kitchen. You take a lot of measure against the virus (packing individual portions with cheese, meat), so you pack the virus in the teller! Put please a bell at the desk, for the case when nobody is present. It took me 10 minutes before I saw somebody. Checking out took me another 10 minutes. Again, people with mask & without mask. Stop that hypocrisy. Or all of you do it, or just leave it. The bath plug was loosing. No internet after 10 o'clock, even the next morning.

I am used to the ibis Styles Brand in Germany so I expected a bit more. The hotel feels like a normal ibis but the rooms are a bit larger. Air conditioner was full of dust, so obviously the room had not been fully sanitized at any time during the pandemic. Hand sanitizer bottles were not always full and not located by the elevators. There are signs on every floor advising you to Sanitize before pushing buttons but no sanitizer to accompany the signs. Breakfast is still buffet style but the meats and cheeses are individually wrapped. Still need to share tongs and other items in the buffet line. Because of the experience I chose not to stay in hotels for the rest of my journey through France. The hygiene measures need an upgrade.

Concerning the dust found on the air conditioner, the person in charge of cleaning was already informed about the situation and it will not happen again. Hands sanitizers were placed in every where in the hotel before we opened it according to the national law in France due to the covid-19. There is one near the elevator and also at the at the entrace of the breakfast room and in the reception. all of them are checked oftenly. We have adapted our buffet so every guest can enjoy it like before. Individuals pliers are available for everyone so they can use to serve by themselves on the buffet. All cuterlys are cleaned and sanitized before putting on the buffet. Once again we apologize and we hope to see you again among us to change your view about our hotel and services. As we were just staying for the day, from check-in, to breakfast, offering information regarding the city and even with checking-out, everything went well, except for the problem that we have encountered with the option for me to pay with points, but still, all the staff were very very helpful! I was very pleased with the location of the hotel, it was just a short walk to the Arena and the other historic monuments. Good selection of restaurants near by, and many great shops All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was a good size, very clean with a comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast had a good choice of fresh food. The parking was a 2 minuet walk from the hotel and was very secure. The entire experience was excellant. Thank you to all the staff.

Stay in Nimes on the way to Barcelona

The hotel is practically next door to the train station, making it very nice for hauling luggage to and from. Room was clean, adequate space. Bathroom also clean. We are used to no washcloths in most European hotels, so we always bring them along! Breakfast was satisfactory. Both check in and out very nice.

The hotel was very well located for my visit to Nimes: it was approx. 100m from the railway station, even closer to the bus station and within easy walking distance of the Arena and Maison Carree and relatively easy walking distance to les Jardins de la Fontaine and the Tour Magna. The atmosphere within the hotel was nicely chilled and relaxed, the breakfasts were excellent and the efficiency of the room cleaning staff much appreciated (my room was always cleaned shortly after going out in the mornings)
