The hotel is ideally located next to the station and easy walking distance from the Roman sites. Staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and there is a wide choice of good food at breakfast. The only drawback was that the large bed almost completely filled the room with only a narrow space around it. This was fine for one night but there was nowhere to relax in the room apart from the bed.

Located next to the station this hotel is ideal for stop over when traveling especially as we arrived late in the evening and had an early train booked on our departure . We stayed 3 nights as we wanted to explore the area . The hotel is basic but clean and good breakfast . Negative comments were that one lift was out of other and the other very slow it caused queues especially at check out and breakfast . We used the stairs most of the time but could be an issue with cases etc . The air conditioning wasn’t very good seems to be centrally controlled, could be more of an issue in the summer . We would stay again for i overnight stop but for a longer break would choose somewhere more comfortable.
