Novotel Atria Nîmes Centre is very well located: five minutes wal from the main railway station, and two minutes walk from the Arenes and the beginning of the city centre. I had an excellent room, with a very comfortable bed. Insulation from outside noise was perfect, cleanliness was very good, wi-fi worked without any flaw. The bathroom was also very good. Breakfast was excellent, and staff were very helpful and friendly. In summary, very good value for money!

I greatly value this hotel and have stayed there 4 or 5 times previously. It's located close to the railway station, the Arene and the old part of town. As usual, the hotel reception area sparkled and the staff were very welcoming, anxious to please. My stay was for 8 nights and, as a Gold ALL member, I was given a room upgrade which I valued very much. However, I was not so pleased with the hotel's general determination to recycle and to protect the planet's increasingly scarce resources. Regarding recycling, the only receptacle I could find was a small black bin, tucked into a dark corner by the lifts: a location oh-so easily overlooked by the hotel's guests. In my view, larger bins should be made more obviously available on ALL floors. With regard to resources ie those associated with unnecessary laundry, my plan was to use only 2 sets of towels during my stay: each set to last 4 days/nights. This worked well for my first 4 nights: I hung my towels up after use until it was time to leave them on the floor, indicating a need for replacement. And they were replaced. However, on each of the last 4 days, my towels were relaced fresh EVERY DAY, despite - as before - hanging them up (as requested by the hotel). I can only think this was because the femme(s)-de-chambre was ignorant of the hotel's rules. This has to change. The policy is a good one, but everyone - PARTICULARLY HOTEL STAFF - have to understand the importance of the rules. My last issue concerned the standard of room cleaning on my last full day (Monday 14th September). The bed was barely made and no vacuuming had taken place as there were still the same 'bits' on the floor that I'd noticed in the morning. Added to this, the tea/coffee tray was not replenished, leaving me with no caffeinated coffee sticks. I had intended to leave the cleaning staff 20Euros as a 'thank you' for their work over the course of my 8 night stay, but I dropped this to 5Euros as a result of this derisory, dismissive attempt at preparing my room on the final day. It irked me a lot.

Stayed one night here enroute through France. Parking easy to find and easy to park in with plenty of spaces. No lift to reception was tricky but check in and stay were great. Special thanks to the lady at the bar who served us at 10:15 - she was lovely.

overall great stay but unfortunately the "thinner" pillows are still hard and too thick for people sleeping face down. as consequence I had a a very average night and woke up with quite a sore neck. in Accor Group the Ibis usually carry a thinner pillow in the dressing section and they work perfectly

I wish we had booked more than one night for our stay in Nîmes. The hotel lobby was gorgeous, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was exactly what we needed. The location of this hotel can’t be beat; very close to the train station and steps away from the coliseum.

Perfect location in Nimes, within easy walking distance to the train station, the arenes and food (stores and restaurants). The hotel lobby and the room were refreshingly cool, which was a treat considering how warm the weather was (low 100s). The hotel staff was welcoming, friendly and always ready to help. Overall, a great stay!
