During my stay, there was a persistent musty smell in the corridor leading to my room, which gave a poor first impression regarding cleanliness and maintenance. I reported three separate issues in the room via email. While the first issue was resolved, the remaining two were not. Despite this, I received a reply stating that all issues had been resolved, which suggested that my message had not been properly reviewed. The unresolved issues were: • A malfunctioning thermostat that did not allow proper temperature control. • The television repeatedly turning on by itself, which significantly disrupted my sleep. No effective follow-up or corrective action was provided for these issues. On the positive side, the valet parking staff and the team members who assisted with luggage handling were exceptionally friendly and professional. I am an Accor Platinum member, and this booking included access to Club Millésime. Unfortunately, the lounge food and overall offering were extremely underwhelming and did not meet the standards expected of a Club Millésime experience. Overall, the service responsiveness and quality fell short of expectations given the Sofitel brand, room rate, and membership status.

My friend have just returned from the Sofitel Abu Dhabi, a fabulous hotel with a great Sea front location opposite the corniche. We had a room on the 29th floor with perfect sea and city views. The hotel has multiple options for refreshments and food. As expected the staff are incredibly courteous however I feel they go that extra mile to make you feel very welcome. The hotel is near the financial/commercial district as such does have a lot of business guests which means the pool does not get busy. This is my second stay at this particular Sofitel and I will happily return in the future.

The room I am occupied requires daily vacuuming until checkout, along with fresh towels provided each day. Bed linens should be changed when they are removed from the bed, without requiring a separate request or a call to guest services. On my first night, I observed visible dust, dander, and hair accumulation along the floor edges and in the corners near furniture. These conditions suggest that routine daily vacuuming would support a cleaner and more comfortable environment throughout the guest stay.
