The checkin experience was great, the room was great (suite) however the amenities, the upkeep of room and other essentials were very poor. It was not upto the standards of Sofitel. I was highly disappointed. Even the room service was skipped for 1 day. The bedsheet and towels were not changed. The toilet were out of tissue paper and bath gel. The breakfast was below average. I really felt as if the hotel was about to get shut and extremely limited service. Not happy with my stay.

highly disappointed with the experience. Given the brand's reputation, my expectations were much higher, but the room failed to meet basic cleanliness and comfort standards. The biggest issue was the king-size bed. It was extremely uncomfortable because the mattress was not flat; it had a noticeable raised hump or "mountain" right down the middle, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the room itself was not clean. There was visible dust on the surfaces and marks around the room. To make matters worse, the toilet had a persistent bad smell throughout our stay.I expected a luxury experience but left feeling let down. I hope management addresses these maintenance and housekeeping issues.

During my stay, housekeeping only serviced my suite once. Additionally, I noticed that a bathroom-style sink appears to be installed in the kitchen area, which felt unusual for the room setup.
When housekeeping did attend to the suite, the cleaning was not completed to an acceptable standard. There was debris left on the floor, and it did not appear that the room had been vacuumed. I also experienced significant delays with simple housekeeping requests.
Overall, the level of service and room maintenance did not meet expectations, and I am unsure whether I would choose to stay at this property again.

It took more than one hour for having checking-in, because there was a long dispute during another customer's check-in procedure. Disputing customers should be handled individually in a separate room. It was very disappointing that we had to wait in such a long line.

Unfortunately, Sofitel Corniche did not meet the standards I would expect from a 5-star hotel.
The breakfast was particularly disappointing. Some of the food did not feel fresh, and the cereal seemed as though it had been sitting out for a long time. Service throughout the hotel was also extremely slow.
The biggest frustration was housekeeping. We called many times and repeatedly received no answer, which is simply not acceptable for a hotel of this level.
Overall, the experience fell well below the standard associated with the Sofitel brand and a 5-star property. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves the quality of the breakfast, responsiveness of the staff, and housekeeping service.

- Reception gave me a low-quality room (404) despite my DIAMOND Accor membership
- Locker not working (battery not functioning); I also asked them to intervene and check but they did nothing
- No towels in the bathroom
- Not enough light in the bathroom (the bulbs were very weak)
- no body lotion/moisturiser (I had to ask)
- no shaver kit available (I had to ask)
- no room cleaning service on the second day, despite me leaving the room in the morning with the signal on

We had a very pleasant stay at Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The hotel has excellent facilities and a good selection of restaurants, so there are plenty of options without having to leave the hotel.
The pool area is really nice and a great place to relax. They also have a well-equipped gym.
Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay with great facilities.

Toilet does not flush and we need to flush continuously but to no avail

It was our third stay in sofitel and we were delighted as the lady at the front desk recognized us and she was really polite,sorry couldn’t get her name (I guess she is Filipina)sweet lady. However, the last time I came for stay was for my birthday in june and during the checkin we informed that the complimentary cake / dessert will be fine for us as initially we wanted to order a 1 kg cake and spoke to the concerned departments via email but then realised it will be too much for two people so during check in we were asked and we confirmed that your complimentary dessert or cake will be enough. However, I didn’t receive anything not even a small card even though we ordered 2 times from in room dining no gestures for the birthday was done. It’s not about the dessert or card but the experience. The first time we came was amazing and this time also we were delighted except for my birthday stay which was disappointing.
