We stayed at Grand Mercure Majlis Abu Dhabi as a family. The apartment itself is quite old-looking, but overall it was acceptable for a short stay. Unfortunately, the breakfast was not to our family’s taste, and because of that we did not use other hotel facilities during our stay. That said, the highlight of our experience was the management. The manager treated us very well, upgraded our apartment, and kindly included breakfast as part of our Diamond status benefits. His attitude and professionalism were truly appreciated and made a positive difference to our stay. Overall, the property could benefit from updates and improvements, especially in dining, but the service from the management was commendable.

Nowhere close to a 5 stars hotel

I can’t believe it is a 5 stars hotel, they have very serious issues from hygiene, to safety (pool area), to services (including room service, valet parking) and to finish the hotel manager is totally absent, tried to reach out to him/her to share the feedback in vain despite trying 3 times over 5 days… the photos attached were for 5 days with not a single day having a room service made in a suite where a family of 4 was staying! We ended up going to the reception to ask even for toilet paper!!! extremely disappointed from the 5 stars and even more from being an Accord hotel!! Last day when checking out the deputy hotel manager reached out and promised to investigate on all the issues shared but obviously nothing was done and no follow up was made. Absolutely careless management. A real pity as location and potential are high but all the rest is disappointing and even dangerous.
