Amazing staff and amazing hotel! The place is really clean, food were great with so many varieties to choose from. The beach is very clean and so as the pool. The spa treatment is to die for. But most of all, we've never seen staff so accommodating like the staff of this hotel. Thanks to Kimberly, Marc, Clarish, Sailesh and Rommel! You guys are the best. We will surely be back because of you all!

In summary if you haven't stayed at this hotel you just don't know what you are missing. Team @ RIXOS Premium Saadiyat Island go above and beyond to make your holiday so enjoyable. We would like to acknowledge the support and assistance which we were shown by all the staff in the hotel but in particular Booking and Front Office: Pardeep, Ahmed and Isabell (so welcoming and accommodating) Cleaning of our room: Norman and the others involved who we never meet (the room was immaculately cleaned every day) Around the pool/pool bar Ahmet, Yagmur, ECE (most entertaining, good fun and helpful) Ausang (ensuring towels were available and refreshed) and Vicky (for delicious cocktails) Restaurants: Roxanne (Peoples and Mermaid) & Kim (Peoples and Aja) who were so friendly and helpful. The food selection in all the restaurants was just delicious and beautifully presented. Looking forward to our next visit. David and Elaine (Northern Ireland)

A beautiful modern hotel! We are a couple with no children and We have just completed a weeks stay at the Rixos in Abu Dhabi. Having previously stayed at the Rixos on the palm in Dubai which is as lovely, the Rixos Abu Dhabi has a lovely relaxed feel the moment you enter. All staff where polite always saying hello when you walk by and nothing was too much trouble. I do feel check in could have been a little bit more welcoming and check out was fine although we wasn’t asked how our stay was but overall a average experience. We had a swim up room which was modern and beautiful. Everything you needed and anything extra needed was just a call away and with you within minutes. Our only comments on the rooms are a Nespresso machine would be a lovely extra touch especially in the upgraded rooms Our downside and biggest moan is we had a life guard that sat outside our pool all day every day. And when we say sat outside he may aswell be sitting next to our sun beds he was that close to our room and outdoor area. We even brought this up with reception and they said they would ask him to move but he stayed next to our poolside the whole week. Was really disappointing as we actually only used it once in the whole week because of this. We felt there was no privacy to having the pool which is why we booked the swim up room. We understand that as there are children they may need to be a lifeguard but maybe the hotel should be more mindful when booking these rooms. Either all children to one block and one block of adults then a life guard wouldn’t be needed. Or they could have put a family next to the lifeguard and put us more down the row as they are rows of 9 rooms and only 1 life guard at one end. They also have a rule that no swimming in the pools after 630 which we found strange as we haven’t had this rule before at other hotels with swim ups. Around the pool is a lovely relaxing area. Although this is a children’s and adults hotel the children where no bother and we didn’t feel like we was in a full on family resort. The staff are amazing with the children aswell but are attentive to the adults only couples also. Fresh fruit, cold towels and ice lollies where brought round by the waiters on skates throughout the day every day. A lovely touch. The service around the pool was amazing and the outstanding Emet( we think this was his name) is a absolute asset to the hotel. He made sure we had beds everyday and drinks always by our sides. Nothing was to much trouble. When he was working we didn’t once have to press the service button to request a drink! Although they where there on emets days off when we pressed the service button (all be it sometimes twice) the service is first class when he is working! The beach is beautiful with crisp white sand and crystal clear seas. Just a note that there is no waiter service down by the sea but there is a bar at the top of the beach which you can get drinks from. Our evenings we spent mostly outside seated in the lobby area where they had different singers each night. I would say the service was alittle slow in this area and being such a large area more staff could be on hand. Pacific was great the last 2 nights with serving us. The service buttons around the pool which are available to you would be great on the beach and around the outside lobby area. The lobby bar is grand and they serve drinks in a beautifully presented way from coffees to Gins and Turkish teas. All al a carte restaurants are good, the Japanese being our favourite with the best food and service. The seafood restaurant was also lovely. I would say the food overall in them all could be better and a better selection. The Rixos at the palm definitely exceeds on the food front here from selection and presentation- the restaurant where more like fine dining than a standard restaurant. The Buffett restaurant would be our only let down and gripe for us to this hotel and would make us consider whether we would return. The service was very mediocre, there wasn’t much life in the restaurant and was almost a little depressing especially at dinner. We felt the food for lunch and dinner was pretty much the same every day and evening. No real different dishes. Everything also was luke warm or cold. Although there was a lot of option (and maybe just not to our taste) when it’s the same for lunch and dinner and then again day in and out this would make me evaluate if we would come back. For children as well every sitting they only really had a choice of chicken nuggets, pizza or pasta. I would recommend if the buffet stayed like this to go to the ‘peoples’ restaurant for lunch and then either the a la carts for dinner or going out, the buffet is that much of a deflation to the hotel. Overall we had a lovely stay and we are contemplating coming back next year with our new born but the buffet and general standard of all food of the hotel is putting us off returning at the moment, especially when we would like to go somewhere for 10 nights I don’t think with the food quality this is something we would do.

The hotel architecture is stunning, elaborate chandeliers, marble floors, Arabian arches lead to winding stairs, fountains and a pristine white sandy, beach. The sea water is bath water temperature. Staff are lovely, the food is both indulgent and healthy, with dishes from local to international. Try the teas in the late night cafe/bar - fantastic, exotic combinations. And everything was all inclusive. The rooms are nice although the decor wasn’t as lavish as the lobby and hallways may lead you to expect. Try the aquarobics, yoga and surfing classes, we really enjoyed these. Honestly, this is an unbelievable place.

Lovely hotel and excellent service. Wonderful food and drinks with lots of choice. But if you are looking for a relaxing holiday, don't go there. At precisely 12:00 every day, the poolside music blasts out of 10 large speakers which surround the pool and bar complex. This goes on until 5pm. Impossible to ignore and Impossible to relax. The hotel management would not respond to requests for the music to be turned down. It spoilt my holiday as there was no real alternative to being at the pool. The beach was not particularly inviting and it was extremely hot out there with sun brollies fixed in position. If you like nonstop loud music all day long then you will be fine. Otherwise please be prepared for a disappointing holiday
