The hotel is beautiful, the location is stunning as are the facilities. What really makes this place special is the staff, in one word, exceptional. From the Concierge to the guy who cleaned our room I have nothing but the utmost praise. Unfortunately due to the circumstances during our stay we could not enjoy Abu Dhabi as we would have liked, but even in the traumatic time of the Iranian attacks the staff were professional, polite, unflustered and a credit to the hospitality industry. To speak to them and look at them you would not have known life was any different to normal. The Concierge Mr Shereef went out of his way to help, advise and reassure us, Richell a member of the front of house team was also outstanding, she made sure on a daily basis and sometimes more than once a day that we were ok and reassured, I cannot tell you how much that meant to my wife and I. She is an absolute star and the hotel should be very proud of her, nothing was too much trouble and she handled herself in the most professional and dignified manner whilst still being friendly and approachable during this awful period. As I say every member of staff deserved the highest praise. Even in the difficult situation we found ourselves in the hotel was spotlessly clean, the rooms impeccably serviced every day and the food was superb. Under different circumstances it would have been a memorable stay for all the right reasons. It is such a pity that we couldn’t enjoy our holiday as we should have, but that is no reflection on the hotel or its staff. When times are more peaceful I would not hesitate in recommending the hotel to anyone, it really is that good.

I am grateful for your professionalism and for the smiles you all gave to my kid every day. Especially I would like to thank Richelle from the front desk, Donna and wider kids club team, Kaan and the sports team. You guys are doing incredible job and I hope we get to see you again! Original review 28/02/26: We stayed eight nights at Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island as a couple with our nearly two-year-old child (end of February–early March). Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The standard room was very spacious, the facilities are excellent, and the hotel feels luxurious yet relaxed. The main restaurant offers impressive variety and quality across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The beach is beautiful, the pool area is very comfortable, and the hotel is genuinely very family-oriented. The reason for four stars instead of five is mainly a few areas where we believe improvements could elevate the experience further — particularly given the hotel’s strong family-friendly positioning. Guest flexibility: We had friends drive from Dubai with two small children just to visit us for a couple of hours. They were requested to purchase a full day pass (700 AED per person) and in general were treated by the staff in a rather rough way. While we understand that policies are necessary, a more flexible option — such as a half-day or 4-hour visitor pass — would make a big difference for guests who may want to accommodate short visits from friends or family. And of course, pass or not, everyone expects to be treated with respect. Child-friendly dining: Considering the hotel markets itself as very kids-friendly, it would be helpful to have a children’s menu available in all restaurants (for example, the People’s restaurant at lunch does not offer one). It would also be great to provide non-glass, non-ceramic kids’ plates and cups. That said, when we brought our own bibs and children’s plate and asked the staff to wash them after meals, they were always very helpful and accommodating — which we truly appreciated. Kids’ club & mini disco: The kids’ club itself is fantastic, but it is important to know that children under four cannot stay without a parent, and nanny services are available only at additional cost. In some comparable family resorts, limited complimentary nanny hours are included, which could be a valuable enhancement. The mini disco is a nice initiative, but it felt more focused on talking than dancing. Several parents we spoke with shared similar feedback — making it more energetic and dance-focused would likely improve the experience. Housekeeping: On one occasion we left the room at 9am and returned around 5pm to find the room just being cleaned, which meant waiting outside with a toddler. However, once we raised this at reception and agreed on cleaning before noon, it was resolved quickly and professionally. In general, the staff are attentive, the facilities are great, and we had a very positive stay. The points above are meant as constructive suggestions. With a bit more flexibility and a few additional family-focused refinements, this could easily become a five-star experience.

This hotel is absolutely stunning and amazing. The rooms are gorgeous, making it overall one of the most beautiful hotels we've ever stayed at. It's just a pity that we couldn't fully enjoy it due to the current situation. However, I must highly commend the incredible professionalism of the entire staff. We didn't feel any panic at all; everything ran like clockwork despite the very difficult situation the UAE is facing these days. I won't go into details—those of us who were there know exactly what I mean. Thank you, thank you, and thanks again for everything! We hope this unfortunate situation is resolved soon. Once again, a massive thank you to all the staff!

We had a fabulous experience from the moment we arrived at this beautiful luxurious hotel. This is the first time I’ve walked into a hotel room and been 100% satisfied, as I have high expectations!! The hotel staff provided excellent customer service and management were always visible. For me it was the attention to detail that really set this hotel apart from others that I’ve stayed at. The à la carte restaurants we found easily to make reservations for and the food was beautifully presented and excellent quality. The waiting staff really went out of their way to make us feel special. I’m not usually a fan of buffet at dinner but we were able to sit outside and enjoy tasteful live musicians, while we were dining which made the experience so much more enjoyable. We were really lucky to be able to sit outside in February, the weather was beautiful. The beach is really well maintained and grateful for long walks to burn off all of our access eating! the hotel itself is in an excellent location and taxis are plentiful and inexpensive. We are already planning our next stay this time with our sons and their partners.
