This was our second visit to Rixos, this time with our 2 children. From check in to check out the service was impeccable. The staff look after you at every single turn and that’s what makes a great holiday. The only thing that stopped me giving a 10 was that with 3 nights left of our stay, reception called to say they’d seen my ‘complaint’ about the view from my room (I hadn’t contacted anyone about my room). We were told we could move to a room with a much better view, would we like to see it?! We went to view the room out of curiosity and the view was lovely however we’d unpacked with 2 children so for the sake of 3 nights we didn’t want to pack and unpack to declined moving to the new room with a better view. When we were at reception and said we didn’t want to move, I enquired about a suite for our last couple of nights however this was far too expensive so again declined any offer to move. The manager came over and told us he needs us to move as there would be construction work on our room, this was obviously where the ‘complaint’ about the view was fabricated to try and have us a move to another room. If they’d been honest in first place we may have accepted and moved. This was a little upsetting as it wasn’t the truth. The following day we went to book our PCR fit to fly tests and again the lady at reception said “oh you are moving rooms?” I again politely declined and said we didn’t want to spend time packing to unpack then pack again for a room the same with a nicer view that we didn’t ever make the most of. The manager then came over and said he would move us to the suite for the remaining 2 nights if we agreed to move! It was a nice gesture but it would have been a much better experience if the team were honest from the start. We did appreciate the upgrade to the suite so thank you Rixos. Crystal at reception, Armit on the rollerblades and the guy at Peoples restaurant (from Philippines) were fantastic! In fact the whole team were so accommodating and we will 100% be returning next year!

Last week my wife and I had the honor of being guests at your hotel, which we chose to celebrate our silver wedding. We were spellbound not only by the beautiful environment of the hotel but also by the services provided from always pleasantly attentive staff, who promptly fulfilled all our wishes without hesitation. Whether in the restaurant, at the bar or by the pool or by the beach. The information and advices we received at the reception from Mr. Mohammad Hafiz or Mr. Kristian Mark were always very helpful and allowed us to make our staying in Abu Dhabi very pleasant and satisfying. I know that appointing only some specific people from the staff is unfair to all other members of the team, but they have really stuck with us as friends and at the same time professionals in their positions. Anyway, I would like to thank all of you to whole team for the excellent experience of our stay in your hotel.

The Rixos is a lovely hotel excellent staff high standard of cleaning you have to wear masks in all communal walkways lots of families with children which wasn't a problem as the Roxis has a good children's club they also adult only bar, we had to get a pcr test to fly which the hotel provides free of charge again excellent hotel

Overall my experience is very good. There is still a way to go in order to become perfect but I understand that the lockdown due to Covid is a challenge for restarting the operation in a perfect way.

We had a wonderful holiday at the Rixos Abu Dhabi.. fabulous staff, amazing food everything is so relaxing. Our children loved it also with so much for them to do. This is our 2nd stay and we will be back! No faults to be found here.. it has everything and more!

Beautiful location, stunning long clean beach with plenty of sun beds, friendly staff, great choice of food and top shelf drinks. Excellent sea view room (5423) First class Italian, Japanese and fish restaurants with good food. Cheeseburgers at peoples restaurant to die for. Delicia at the Japanese restaurant, Irene at the lobby bar and Rodney the mixologist at the sixth floor bar all deserve a special mention for their superb service. The reason we have not given 10 out of 10 is due to the bad “DJ” music played in the lobby bar, which would be ok for a nightclub where dancing was allowed - but destroyed the peaceful and relaxing hotel atmosphere. The Saxophonist and the guitarist however, were very good on their own. The eating areas should have smoking free zones. Overall would recommend for a relaxing and luxury holiday.
