This was our 2nd stay and we had an excellent stay . Food and drinks are exceptional and all staff were fantastic . We had 2 minor negatives 1. We could not book into an À la carte restaurant until night 4, which meant we had to do back to back reservations for the remaining duration, it would have been nice to alternate our dining experience . When we did visit the À la carte restaurants they were 30-50% below capacity, with plenty of spare tables. There should be an option to book on the evening if there is capacity. 2. Reservations in the À la carte restaurants should be age restricted after a certain time - 8-8:30 . At times we were surrounded by noisy / bored / tired children who’s parents thought it was ok for them to run around tables .

The hotel itself was very nice, staff were friendly and facilities good. But after eating at D'olivio on our final night my wife fell VERY ill with what we have now had confirmed at norovirus. She had to have picked it up at that restaurant - we kept ourselves to ourselves and didn't leave the hotel all week. We ended up extending our stay for a day as she was not fit to fly - your staff extended the room for me (at an extortionate AED6100!) and didn't seem particularly interested when I mentioned she may have food poisoning. They arranged a doctor but didn't ask where she had eaten, what she had eaten etc. Almost as though they didn't want to know.

We are a family of four with two boys aged 3 and 5, and the setup was fantastic for all of us. The hotel was lovely, spotlessly clean, and extremely well maintained throughout our stay. Service in both the restaurants and around the pool was very attentive and friendly. The only area that could be improved was the beach bar, where we felt there could have been a few more staff. If you weren’t seated close to the bar, service could be quite slow. Our other minor criticism would be the lunch options.

The hotel was superb. Great location on Saadiyat island, beautifully maintained and with friendly, ever-helpful staff. Food and drink were plentiful and excellent in quality. This was our first visit to the UAE and the experience exceeded our expectations in terms of things to do, both in and out of the hotel. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxed break in the sun when the UK was so wet and miserable. Will definitely look to return

We’ve been very lucky in being able to stay in some wonderful hotels throughout the world, and the Rixos Premium was right up there with the best!!! The room fabulous, and whatever time of the day that we went to the beach, there was always plenty of sunbeds to choose from, so no getting up early to put your towels on the beds! The beach staff were very attentive, especially Bishoraj, who mainly looked after us, he was always asking if we wanted drinks, fruit etc. The staff in the Self Service restaurant, were very attentive too, and so much choice, if you couldn’t find anything enjoyable, you must be very hard to please!! Hopefully we can return next year🤞 Thank you Rixos for one of our best holidays.
