Just a night while I had back to back medical appointments to do nearby. Kindly was allowed to check in early and the room was just what I needed, except lacking any USB power points. The gentlemen on reception in the early morning of my arrival was very helpful in accommodating my early check-in needs on a stressful day for me.

Rooms were clean, serviced daily and supplied tea and coffee. Small fridge but enough space to chill a water or cans of soda. Online offered a shuttle service to and from MRT which was a solid 10mins walk uphill from the hotel, however on arrival we were informed this service hasn’t been running since Covid. Wouldn’t recommend the walk with luggage. Not a lot of informative service offerd from the front desk about the area, so had to navigate our own way around to find hawker stalls, buses to and from MRT. Next time to Singapore we would probably pick ACCOR hotels on the green line for ease of getting to and from Chiangi as all sights are easily accessible via MRT so no need to be closer to CBD.

Quite comfortable and clean conditioned room, with great transportation for tourists. Although somewhat far from famous sights, bus station is right upfront and metro is just in 10 minute distance. Quite affordable price with friendly staff also.

I reached the hotel before the check in time and I requested a room to freshen up myself so that I can attend the conference. It was denied but later they have given me the room after few hours. The room doesn't have water bottles instead a low profile water filter was fitted in the bathroom. Am not sure if it was good enough as there were mild particles were visible. Also, since there's no dinner available nor room service, to avail a play for eating inside the room, the support staff was so rigid that they give only a small square plate and they insisted that I should eat beside the restaurant in the open area. They also insisted that I should handover the plate to the restaurant after use and should not leave inside my room. TV was old and pathetic in my room, though there were no interesting channels to watch. The receptionist was courteous but appearing helpless to all my requests. Morning breakfast was good and that's the only best thing I can recollect.

I could hear voices and noise from outside, which made my stay very uncomfortable and inconvenient. The room was not comfortable at all, and the overall quality did not meet my expectations for a hotel. Honestly, it felt below the standard of even a 2- or 3-star hotel. I have stayed at other ibis hotels before and had a much better experience, but this particular ibis hotel was a huge disappointment. I expected a much better standard from the ibis brand.

I had a wonderful stay at ibis Singapore Novena. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and located in a peaceful area.
