Overall, I had a great stay. However, there were two issues worth noting. During the stay, there was a very strong mold odor coming from the bathroom. It was so intense that we had to keep the bathroom door closed. Additionally, room service was unavailable during dinner due to short staffing in the restaurant. The staff member on duty was doing her best to assist both room service and restaurant guests, but it was understandably difficult for one person to manage both. Thank you for your attention to these matters.

I was in Bogotá to attend friends' wedding celebration; I wanted a central location at a reasonable price, and one of the friends getting married suggested Ibis Museo. This proved a very good choice for me -- the proximity of La Macarena (with restaurants, in particular), and the ease of getting transport to other parts of the city, were very useful. The room itself was impeccable -- I'd especially note the very comfortable mattress, sheets and pillows. I do not often sleep well on my first night in a hotel, but that was not the case here.

I stayed here for 6 days. I had to move rooms the 2nd day because of issues on the electronic room lock; the card didn’t work in the elevator either. In the substitute room I could enter but the key still didn’t work in the elevator. Wifi only works in the lobby, in the rooms it drops out consistently and has a download speed of about 1mb/s. I tried the free wifi and unlimited wifi and there was no difference. The USB ports in the room also work intermittently. The staff are friendly and do a great job, breakfasts were fine etc. I stay here because it is well located, but the hotel is in need of some TLC.
