When checking in, I requested to cancel the second night of my reservation because my flight plans had changed drastically. Even though they had a 24hr cancellation policy, they refused to cancel the second night. The workers spoke very limited English, but I wasn't allowed to speak to a manager as they weren't "on-site". The room was way too hot because their AC wasn't on. The bathroom tub floor bent while moving around and I was worried it was going to break. The restaurant was also unexpectedly closed while I was there. The hotel was ok and the location was good, but overall, it wasn't worth the rest of the hassle the hotel caused. Avoid this hotel.

There are many good employees in this hotel, that is so important. Kevin in reception is excellent, very kind and attentive. Karol in reservations is very quick to reply.

The A/C was broken and it took 2 days to fix it.

Ridiculous extra charge for additional coffee pods

You get 2 coffee pods per day for the coffee maker and one cup? Any additional coffee pods that you request are charged to your room account. ($1 USD per pod)This is extreme penny pinching by novotel. Surely a large company such as Novotel can afford to provide at least two or three pods per person without additional charge.
