The hotel is wonderful. The people who work in the hotel are wonderful. The location of the hotel is wonderful. The rooms are wonderful. But Accor's decision to put a daily service charge if 10% to stay at the hotel is ridiculous and tacky. What's worse is when you check out and the service charge is NOT brought up by the hotel. This experience and having to delete it off your bill at the end of your stay is ridiculous and it's a reason why Accor will never hold a match to Marriott or Hyatt when they have these types of "optional" service fees they add on your hotel bill that generates more expense for your guests.

On check-in the both staff did not know about my suite night upgrade vouchers and we ended up missing out on two nights in a Junior Suite because of this. It was all sorted afterwards, and the management were very helpful, but it left a bad taste in the mouth. In hindsight I should have insisted on speaking to a manager at the time but we were very tired.
