Stayed for 2 nights thinking this was a luxury hotel. It was just ok from service standpoint. Was not recognized as Accor loyalty member. Language was an issue. My fault but seemed to be annoyed more than anything. Traveled on American Express but didn’t get upgraded room hotel didn’t seem full and lackluster in vibe. Breakfast was good, service just ok. Welcome gift I got was for someone else’s name. Don’t think intended for me. Location was near many restaurants and stores. Safe area. Anything purchased from hotel is extremely expensive.

We deeply regret that you left with the impression that our service fell short of the standards we strive to deliver at Sofitel Bogotá Victoria Regia. We are particularly sorry to learn that you did not feel adequately recognized as an ALL member during your stay. While your current ALL status is Classic, we understand that every member should feel valued and welcomed, regardless of tier level. After reviewing your reservation, we can confirm that a complimentary room upgrade was provided, as your original booking was for a Superior Room and you were accommodated in a Luxury Room as part of your American Express Hotel Collection benefits. However, we sincerely regret that this was not communicated clearly upon arrival. We understand that the language barrier and the overall communication during your stay may have prevented this information from being conveyed effectively, and for that, we are truly sorry. We are equally concerned to learn about the welcome amenity that was delivered under another guest's name. Please accept our sincere apologies for this oversight. This situation is clearly not aligned with the level of attention to detail and personalized service that defines the Sofitel experience, and we fully understand the confusion this may have caused. Furthermore, we regret that some of your interactions with our team may have left you feeling that assistance was offered with anything less than genuine warmth and hospitality. Regardless of any language differences, every guest deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and cared for throughout their stay. While we are pleased to know that you enjoyed our breakfast offerings and appreciated our convenient and safe location, we are disappointed that other aspects of your visit overshadowed these positive elements. Please rest assured that your comments have been shared with the relevant teams, as they provide us with valuable opportunities to improve both our communication and service delivery.
