The service staff is excellent! The hotel facilities are not 5 star worthy! Overall, the rooms are priced too high! This Hotel is not in New York City!

Beautiful building but I was sick the whole time. I wasn’t able to enjoy Bogota and at least thought I could enjoy my hotel stay. I got laundry done and in my sick state the staff told me just to sign and they would take care of it. Then I got the $400+ bill. When I asked it to be lowered the manager said the most she could lower it was still $300+ and lied claiming that was lowering it to what it cost them only as they outsource laundry. There is no way it cost $300 at the nicest laundry facility for 10 very simple wash and dry outfits/one large load of laundry. I was already annoyed but being lied to was way worse.

Did not live up to expectations. We booked through the Hotel Collection with American Express. Upon arrival, the agent was not familiar with most of the benefits of The Hotel Collection, only the $100 credit. He said our rate did not include breakfast, which is one of the benefits. I insisted it did and he said he would check and get back with us, which he never did. It turned out there is a letter with Hotel Collection benefits that is supposed to be given to guests at check-in, which would have made the benefits clear (we did not receive the room upgrade we were supposed to as one of our benefits as well). Additionally, there ended up being confusion over the $100 property credit. Since it was never explained to us, we assumed it was good for all property charges and got a massage. It is apparently not good for this (which would have been known had the benefit sheet been provided at check-in). After argument at check-out, they finally were willing to apply the $100 towards the massage, which I appreciate, but it never should have gotten to that point. I can say, the location of the hotel was excellent and the bed was extremely comfortable. However it didn't live up to the expectations, and there are plenty of hotels in the neighborhood that I was choose instead next time.
