Excellent hotel and location, though enjoyment marred by being unwell due to food poisoning.

Hotel and services provided were very good. Historical tour on Saturday was a surprise and very enjoyable. Unfortunately, breakfast after 1st night caused a degree of food poisoning. Vienna is an excellent city and November is great time to visit.

Excellent stay at the Mercure Vienna First. Location is excellent for the city centre (5 minutes walk to the cathedral), close to bars and restaurants, yet in a very peaceful square. All staff went above and beyond to make our stay thoroughly enjoyable. Breakfast buffet was good, Magda and Yourek in the restaurant providing service with a smile. If I go to Vienna again I would have no hesitation in staying here again.
