Hotel is in the pedestrian area of the old town. Room (Privilege room), was a good size, bathroom & shower were good. Room was on the back side of the hotel so it was quiet but a little dark due to the modern décor colours and smallish windows (it’s a very old building) Staff were excellent and helpful. Parking: we drove into Vienna. To drop bags is a little inconvenient. Stop at the end of Juden Gasse to drop bags at chained off street, then it’s a 20m walk to the front door. Then drive to the BOE garage to park (address on hotel website). This is a good secure underground car park. Four minutes walk back to the hotel up some stairs. Validate your ticket at reception to get the discounted parking rate of €32/day. Overall good stay and we would stay here again.

Nice location, very friendly and helpful people at the reception as well as during the breakfast. I could not figure out how to use the air conditioning and the TV and was too lazy to ask for help. Overall quite nice. Nothing fancy but nice. Could come again.

This is not my first time to stay at the Mercure First Vienna. I was there in November of 2025. I must discuss a situation that I found aggressive and aggravating. Each morning regardless of the skip service card I hung on my exterior door knob the same woman in housekeeping entered my room without knocking. I found this rude, aggressive and disrespectful. Furthermore she did the same when I was there in November and I asked her to abide by the plaquered doorknob but still she entered every morning to disturb my sleep and privacy.
