Garbage not empty for 2 days in a row Door left opened on balcony room for one entire day by cleaning people (room was on first floor and could be easily accessible by robbers Ammenities barely re-filled. Safe not working properly (battery in door keep falling since attached by tape....) Very far from standards expected from mercure hotel.

Upon check-in at around 6pm, we were not informed about the fact that there was no heating in the room. Neither were we offered assistance with extra blankets or the possibility to stay at an alternative hotel. When we came back from dinner at midnight, it was really cold outside and thus chilly in the room. I called to the reception, where the man did not speak English, we were simply informed that there was no heating in the hotel. Not more and not less, not even an apology, or any help with extra blankets. As we are from Spain this situation was very uncomfortable for us and consequently we had problems sleeping and we were cold during the night. Further and sadly, I had the impression that literally no one was really bothered with us, nobody cared!
