The room was clean and tidy, and breakfast was good. I was visiting for a meeting at TAS which is less than 5 minutes walk away.

Following a refurbishment, I was disappointed that the air conditioning was not working. My visit 4 weeks ago was poor with bar and restaurant closed. This visit was equally disappointing. Time for me to find an alternative hotel.

It is unacceptable to have a hotel located far from other amenities to have a restaurant that is closed. The standard of service for the customer is poor. Limited number of staff is creating this situation - the standard of staff working is high, but simply there are too few staff to support a functioning hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel before. On all occasions it has been one of my favourite French hotels to stay in. The staff are always friendly and they are very helpful. I have a bad back and I said that the bed was a bit hard for me. They had the problem solved in a few minutes of me mentioning it by adding a mattress topper to the bed. The room was large and looked out onto the pool. The location is excellent with only a short walk to the beach. We stayed 7 days and would have stayed longer but for the fact that the hotel was closing for renovations. All the staff were very friendly including the housekeeping staff. We had dinner one night and it was very nice. We also bought some gourmet foods from the shop in the hotel. We will be back next year. Well done to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.
