The experience was awful, we woke up in the morning to find out that there is no water in the bathroom and we could not flush the toilet, it took an hour to get hold of the reception and we had been told that they don't know why there is no water in the hotel and they will send us a bottle of water so we can at least brush our teeth but nobody turned with the water. Breakfast was ok and at 11.30 am we went back to the room to find out that the water was back but it was running yellow with soil, we run the bathtub for 15 minutes but the water still running dirty. finally we gave up and had to check out with no shower because I had a flight to catch at Nice airport. at check out the male receptionist told me that I could wait longer for the water to clear. when I asked for a discount, he said he has no authority to do so and that a manager will contact me on Monday but I never heard anything yet.

We arrived after to the Pullman after our trip from Umbria in Italy at 23.00hrs. We had an amazing experience there a couple of years ago. The check-in was quick and we were surprised to see that this Pullman is not in the American Express Fine Resorts & Hotels collection anymore. We got our roomkey and went to our room. This is where the trouble started. The towels were damp (literally), the minibar empty and we wanted to have something quick to snack before going to sleep. We then tried to phone the reception only to discover that the phone in our room wasn't working. I had to call with my mobile to the hotel reception and explain the situation. The receptionist first said that we didn't know how to operate the phone and came to our room to find out that the phone wasn't working. I explained the situation with the towels where he replied: I can't do anything for you please inform housekeeping the next day... And the last drop in the bucket was the problem with the roomservice that we couldn't reach. His recommendation: Maybe order a pizza from the outside... He then just left without saying a word... I had a chat with my partner and we decided this is not the hotel we would like to stay at. I went downstairs and explained to the receptionist again the whole situation and nearly begged for a solution. The answer remaind the same however: I can't do anything for you. Please explain this to the manager tomorrow. I decided to checkout (1hr of total stay) and he began the checkout process with deducting the full amount of our entire stay without telling me anything. I found this out through the Amex app. I confronted him with this and he said (again) I can't do anything for you please discuss this with the manager tomorrow. At this point I wanted to get away immediately because I was tired, frustrated and angry. Our Amex concierge quickly made a reservation at another hotel that we didn't know: The Martinez in Cannes. We went there only to discover that not only the hotel was fully staffed (e.g. more people around than the receptionist), had 5 stars, was on the beach but also was a lot cheaper not even counting the free perks and upgrades. We finally could go back to sleep. The next day I went to the Pullman hotel and explained the situation and the manager resolved this situation immediately and was surprised to see that the receptionist, who turned out to be the night manager as well, could have offered another room. Replace the telephone. Take our order and etc. He did nothing of the sorts and after 10 minutes I found that the amount has been credited back to my credit card. Which was very much appreciated and my compliments for the quick action that was taken. I really hope the Pullman Cannes Mandelieu Royal Casino fixes this because we loved our stay there and any other Pullman hotel. We regularly travel and we love this chain. This was our first bad experience we had with Pullman in 5 years.

Everyone who worked at Pullman Cannes was especially helpful and the service was excellent. William, who worked poolside, was so kind to us and made sure we had a sun bed on both days of our stay, reserving it in advance for us. He was also very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The front desk and valet staff were super helpful and kind as well -- this made a huge difference in my opinion of the hotel and made me consider staying here again. The cons: it was not clean and the furniture/decor was tired and not properly maintained. It was more like a 3-star rundown hotel. No espresso or coffee maker in the room. Walls were dirty, there was mildew all over our shower like it had never been bleached or scrubbed. The chairs in the dining room were clear plastic and you could see fingerprints and food all over them like they'd never been cleaned ever. Chairs on the balcony in the room were not nice, furniture had tons of scratches, rough edges. Bed was pretty comfortable but we were only given two pillows for a king-sized bed. Usually a 4-star will provide you with a lot of very comfortable pillows. Basically the rooms need an update/overhaul even though the decor looks contemporary and nice, it's just not maintained or cleaned properly. It's critical that during covid cleaning is up to a much higher standard than what I saw at Pullman. The location was pretty good even though it's not really in Cannes and you have to drive there, it's way too far to walk. But I appreciated being in a more "quiet" part of town away from all of the crowds. I think the hotel should make it clear that this is not near the old town of Cannes. Breakfast choices were excellent, food was great. We ate lunch there for two days and were pleased. However, the vegetarian tofu noodles was not good at all, my son said it had no flavor and it was kind of "gross". Otherwise, we were really happy with the selection and quality of the food. I was especially pleased there was a kids' menu -- this is one of the reasons I selected the hotel. Having chicken nuggets and pasta on the menu was wonderful and made my life as a parent a million times easier. And I loved that you had fresh, local fish available. Thank you!

It felt very busy by the pool and the beach. Having to pay to have a bed at the beach and the pool was also a dissapointment. Check-in was at 15:00, we arrived at 16:00 (with a 1 and 5 year old) but couldn't have access to our room until 17:00 (we did get 2 free drinks while we were waiting).

We had a very pleasant stay, we were a upgraded to a room with sea view! Very clean room, enough space, wonderful view, nice staff and good breakfast. With a special mention to the waitress Sophie who was remarkably efficient despite the crowded restaurant during breakfast! The beach is very nice for kids and not crowded. the swimming pool is fantastic. Only remark is about service quality of the beach/pool area, the staff was not as nice and welcoming as the hotel's... My son needed a fishing net (toy), I asked to borrow it from the beach staff but they were selling it instead at 10 euros (should cost 2 euros in a shop)! I was even more surprised when I had to pay it by cash only! We paid for all the private beach services (lounge chair, drinks etc) separatly by card and we had to find an ATM for the 10€ by cash! It seems very strange!

The hotel has a perfect location with easy access to the beaches, the town and to the highway. The service is good but not great. The hotel needs a makeover and the the swimming pool is surrounded by Sharp edges. My dayghter cut her foot on a tile.

Stay during Cannes Festival .10 minutes by car to Pantiero parking Very calm atmosphere at Hotel. Breakfast it's good but could be little bit more dishes At all other still 5 star service at 4* hotel Vallet parking,View, Rooms etc... Will stay again

A very nice hotel just by the sea. Thge beds are excellent and the rooms are spacious. I do also like to have the opportunity to sit on a terrace. There is a Casino on the lower ground floor so if you want to do some playing the opportunity is not far away.

Great size room with nice view from the balcony. Very friendly staff. Nice meals. Only problem was the winds were so strong that they kept pushing hard on the glass sliding door which made it very noisy and difficult to sleep.
