2 night stay. Massively overpriced car parking; £30 as opposed to about £2.50 a 5 min walk away. Uncomfortable bedding and terrible pillows. I’d put up with these other than I was paying around £200 per night.

Excellent location

Excellent location, service was good and breakfast was nice with a basic selection. Rooms were small but clean , lovely bathroom, comfortable bed. Down side unfortunately the windows in the rooms were awful , dirty and old . And there was a damp smell in the hotel. Every thing could do with some updating . We Had a Groupon deal soo it was sufficient but would not have been happy had we paid full price for the level of luxury .

Very pleasant stay

We were staying one night in Oxford to attend an event. The hotel was fine and check in was good. The bar area seemed friendly and welcoming. Reaching the hotel by car was not easy as there is no right turn from the incoming road and parking was a nightmare - as we had not pre-booked.

Really noisy room!!

Sue_of_London TripAdvisor review

Avoid room 202, I have never previously stayed in such a noisy hotel room. The stairs next to the room are not fully carpeted, so I was kept awake late with the sound of people clonking up the stairs, and then woken early with those coming down. Then at 07.30 there was the loud gurgling of the radiators coming on. The creaking floorboards from the room above and the lift "mind the doors" was quiet in comparison to the rest of the noise. It would be interesting if the management spent a night in that room, to see if they found it acceptable. On a positive note, I enjoyed the breakfast.
