Staff were exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. Rooms were old and shabby. Shampoo in the bathroom was completely empty. Old sweet wrappers/dust and dead spiders and cobwebs in the room upon checking in. Windows filthy. No in room fridge.

I was upgraded to an apartment which is in a separate building to the main hotel. Very nice apartment but it was on the main road so road traffic noise was an issue, the windows didn’t really block out the noise.

Your staff made our stay enjoyable by moving us from a very tired and old Classic room in need of refurbishment to a Premium room which was of the standard we are used to. The food is well presented and of good quality although highly priced like all hotels. We enjoyed the location and would stay again but choose a different room.

The room, the shower and the outside patio area was great. Front desk staff was so nice and cordial. However, the last day there, I came down at 9:58am and asked for a banana. In the breakfast room were many friends from all around the world. The waitress was extremely rude, slamming down plates and said it’s 10am and we are closed. All the patrons in there and my friends could not believe the evil and tone of her voice and someone in service. I then asked another waiter who was very helpful. Then she comes out as everyone is still eating and says we are closed and we need to clean up. I had to catch the shuttle and forgot to tell this to the manager on duty. She was a thin young girl with dark hair (a bit goth ish) and so rude. I truly hope you let her know because it ruined my entire experience there.

Staff very pleasant. Bedroom good. Bathroom lacked places to hang wash bags, or put down clothes. Shower cubicle had rubber mat, but not long enough. I was very nervous of slipping where there was no mat.

This was a room only deal as I was eating elsewhere over 5 days but check-in was simple, the room was a good size with a desk which I needed (I did have to ask for a chair that was high enough to use the desk but that was provided), the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a decent size.

We arrived to warm welcome from the receptionist but had already noticed a lack of attention, unexpected in a four star hotel, of leaves and dust in the rear entrance lobby. These had blown in from the untended courtyard garden and remained there for the duration of our stay , even after the gardener had returned from his 10 day absence and swept quantities of small stones that had been washed on to, and left. on the only pathway from the car park , and our suite (No.3), to the main hotel building. Not a good look and showed a lack of pride in the place. Worse was to come on our first night when I discovered to my horror that there was a used nose tissue sandwiched between the supposedly clean pair of pillows on the left hand side of the bed. Disgusting. This same laziness a lack of pride was shown by the supposedly pristine white slippers with the M branding which , by the look of the soles, had been used and then put out for us to reuse. Again disgusting. Lastly, and only a slight niggle was the fact that neither of the exterior door lights were working either side of our entrance door into the building from the car park. For how long we wonder? Before you ask if we reported any of this? We were going to but the receptionist on duty was at the same time assisting two visitors ( local businessmen?) to the hotel and we didn't want to be washing genuine ' dirty laundry' in front of them.

Bed very comfortable and nice and quiet. Hotel clean but chairs in reception/lounge were looking shabby and worn. Cooked breakfast was cold and plates also and the cutlery had sharp edges so uncomfortable to use. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

Excellent service from Sharron, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. She really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a great experience. The hotel offers some truly fantastic apartments, furnished to a very high standard. We had originally booked a Privilege Room, which was also very well appointed, but due to an unfortunate issue with the air conditioning, we were kindly upgraded to one of the apartments — and it was outstanding. Both the rooms and apartments have a real high-end feel, with excellent design touches and great features throughout. When functioning, the air conditioning worked very well. The apartment kitchens are extremely well equipped, and the living room setup was excellent, with a large TV and a big, comfortable sofa that made it very relaxing to spend time in. I would strongly recommend this hotel not only because of the quality of the rooms and apartments, but also because of the genuinely kind, welcoming, and helpful staff.

We stayed two nights so we could explore Salisbury. All was in easy walking distance. We chose the large apartment. Very spacious and in good order. The only down was the strong springs on the fire doors. An info book would be useful. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Especially Vicky.
