The hotel and location are great. The breakfast was wonderful. Restaurant isn’t up to the standard. What was a real disappointment though was to have them forget to pick up a bag from our room although we had left it will all pur luggage and didn’t charge it in our car. We realized we didn’t have it once we got home. It was the bag with all of my husbands personal belongings, house key and work computer. They were impossible to get a hold of until the next morning and took an entire day deciding whether it was up to us to pay for the transfer (we live in Buenos Aires 56km away) or them. In the end they agreed to ship it to their Sofitel hotel in Buenos Aires (which is still quite far from our home) but have not let us know when it will arrive. I’m writing this Tuesday afternoon and we checked out at 6pm on Sunday. I keep messaging them but am under the impression they are waiting it out so that we will pay the transfer ourselves or go and pick it up directly. This is unacceptable behavior on their part, considering the fault was mostly theirs. It’s a shame to end a great weekend this way.
