The rooms are spacious with large terraced balconies overlooking nature. Relaxing and comfortable, even to enjoy during the rain, as well as the many indoor activities.

Nice place overall, but the service and accommodations fell short and could be much improved. The air conditioning wasn’t working properly, and we had repeated issues with the key cards, often unable to access the room.

Overall, our stay was pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were large with nice patios, and the location felt secure and relatively quiet considering it’s next to a big highway. However, for the price point, the facility seemed run down in certain areas - especially in the rooms. The shower doors didn’t close properly, the sink had peeling caulking, and the shower was sloped incorrectly such that all the water drained out into the main bathroom floor. The staff didn’t provide bar soap, nor did they replace the towels that they took. The main pool was freezing but the hot pool was lovely. It felt like cost cutting was in full effect which took away from the five star luxury experience that was claimed.

Great location and high expectations - very nice pool setup but the reality was, that it's not worth the usual Sofitel experience why? I had issues for being able to pay without IVA (as foreigner), which were only resolved upon the 2nd day - thanks to Lucas, nice person But then the disappointment happened that a higher exchange rate for USD > pesos was used - although it was communicated to be the "offical" rate. The person at reception couldn't resolve this and then the final comment was: This is Argentina. I am used to having to fight or discuss about those topics, trying to be taken advantage of etc - but I was hoping it would not happen at SOFITEL (didn't expect this). Rooms: Coffee cups missing - told the personnel - nothing happened Overall it made a bit the impression of being not in best shape - although the hotel is nicely set up. SPA = not worth mentioning / I have been to so many other Sofitels and this one probably has the worst sauna, spa and relaxation area of all.
