Fine service and overall experience. Disappointed that the pool did not open until a week after my arrival in early December, when the days were already hot and sunny.

They charged me the 21% IVA without let me know during the reservation process

During the reservation proccess the website told me that no more taxes would be charged at the hotel, but on the check-out, they charged me 5.000+ pesos of 21% IVA taxes. Also, they just credited 3 days on my All account, where in fact ot was 4 days.

Good location, good customer service however the facilities are old not well maintained, beds are old, furniture are in bad shape, even the curtains are dirty and damaged. Elevator are dirty the room service is not with the expected quality. I just came from other similar level hotel in a different brand (Marriot) and the comparison does not help Novotel, I am member since long time back and always using Novotel correientes, I have experienced how the quality has decreased considerably, hope soon Accor so something for this property that seems is only using the name and brand to keep with such level of prices.

I booked this hotel because I wanted to use the pool during my stay. At the time of booking it just announced that the pool will be open in summer. As it has 32 degrees in Buenos Aires right now I was assuming that this counts as summer so when the receptionist told me it's closed I was really disappointed. Nothing was offered me as compensation or good will to show that they are sorry for this misunderstanding. Other hotels provide like a bar voucher or whatever to make the customer happy but here nothing.

Our bathroom got flooded due to the leaking shower and the hotel firstly informed us that there are no free rooms. Finally when they agreed to move us we’ve asked them to move out packed bags to the new room - no one did that. Our already basic and old looking room was exchanged to one even worse looking with shower door hitting the bathroom down light (potential electrical hazard), things in the room were broken etc. We asked for another room, so the facility manager took us back to that unfortunate room and moved to a different one with a bigger bed. It was better, cleaner, but not 4 star hotel standard. I think that the curtains hasn’t been washed in at least 10 years, there is so much dust that you can’t touch them. Would be good to clean the carpets from time to time, because they simply stink. In ever single bathroom there is fungus either under the shower or in the sinks. This hotel is a disgrace to the Novotel brand.. just a quick mention about the food: basic, every day same stuff, not fresh, dry and nasty tasting bread. I’ve never had worse coffee in my life.. The pool was under the construction as well, and gym is dated, so If you’re thinking about exercising there - forget it.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner menu was good but the breakfast provided was awful. Hot food looked unappetizing and the other food was not really appealing. The room was adequate. Decor could do with some upgrading as is quite dull compared with decor in the foyer and business/meeting areas

Hello. I was checking on Nov 18, 2019. Confirmation Number : HTVSFZNL. I did call the hotel and check on my room upgrade and It was confirm that I got upgrade. When I arrived the hotel room can not get upgrade but the check in counter told me that he can get room upgrade on 21-23. He told me to pack my suitcase and leave my suitcase in the room and come down to tell front desk to move to new room. I did and the lady who I deal at the front desk women was so nasty. Did not even look for detail and note. She said NO NO NO.. It was so bad in service that I could not believe that she can work at the band name hotel. I never call the Maneger of hotel before as I am alway happy and easy to deal with but in this case. I need to stand up and report. Also I booked the room include breakfast and no food left. It happened for many day so I did not had any food left accept the fruits. When I called Maneger I also report her as well. It was so bad. She end up move me the upgrade as the record from the check in.
