Unimpressed with miserable staff

Just a bog standard 4 star. Good location but that’s about it. No welcome to the hotel from the surly receptionist, no Accor welcome and to top it off we were given a room facing straight into the Ibis bedrooms - great! Changed to a room that at least faced out to the city. Room was drab but bed was comfy. Net curtains looked nicotine stained. No English TV channels (not that we were there to watch TV but would’ve been nice for background noise) and despite being informed the mini bar prices can be found on scanning the QR code they can’t. Went for our complimentary drink to the bar on our last night only for at least 2 staff members who keep too-ing and fro-ing back and forth to the restaurant completely ignoring us! Maybe it’s an English thing! 🤣 Wouldn’t stay here again - the Ibis is next door and is probably cheaper and far more friendly….

Hotel was lovely and in such a great location to explore Buenos Aires. The room was great, strange shower where there’s a glass window so can see people in the shower but a curtain is provided to give privacy. But room was lovely! Staff at reception and security guard were always welcoming and the lifeguard and the pool was very friendly! Pool is so relaxing after a long day of exploring the pool to swim and relax is just what is needed! Like I said the hotel is in such an amazing location with delicious restaurants nearby! Was just perfect! Highly recommend this hotel!
