Very helpful front desk staff, Fernando and his colleagues assisted us with directions and city info. Nice pool area, a little refuge in the big city.. Good breakfast. Location is central, restaurants nearby, right in theatre district. Close to buses and metro. Would definitely stay here again.

When checking-in the Receptionist knew who I was and that I had stayed there for a week last December. However, there was no Welcome Back comment or ALL (Diamond) status recognition. I doubt that the room allocated to us was the best that I paid for, or that you could have provided with upgrade. There was no mention of Welcome Gift or complimentary water when checking in. The only extra was we were provided complimentary breakfast on the day we checked-in after a very long and delayed affected journey. Breakfast on Fri and Sat was disappointing (as per our December with you. The sausages were undercooked, the bacon burnt and the scrambled eggs cold. Most restaurant staff were not visible until end of service. Your Complimentary Drinks for a Diamond member were limited to a choice of a red or white wine. Our room door would not automatically close and it was far more when a simple adjustment to the door closer. For the money we paid, my ALL status and being a retuning guest we were disappointed with our stay. At least one lift was not working for every day of our seven-day stay. The hotels is, at best, a 4* and I regret not booking at the Ibis, who unlike Novotel, rarely over-promise and under-deliver
