I stayed 3 nights at Palladio Mgallery and each day had a bad experience. First, one morning at breakfast, there was an employee/manager in a business suit that instead of greeting me and asking for my room number said translation: “Can I help you”? What kind of way is that to greet a guest in the morning? Yes I may not be dressed as nice in the morning but if this hotel is going to discriminate based on just how someone looks then it isn’t a hotel that I would recommend. Next day, I came back to my room and my key didn’t work. I went to the front desk to solve the issue. The agent took my key and asked me what room I was staying in, I replied “Room 710”. He then said “There is no one staying in room 710”. Oh my god!, I thought to myself, why would I lie to you? Another agent leaned over and said something to him and the issue did get resolved. This definitely is not 5 star service to me though when you are saying that the guest is lying directly to his face. Lastly on my final night there I sat at the bar Negresco. My friend who stayed at a different room got served a drink immediately. I sat at the long table for some privacy and waited for the bartender. I waited and waited but I was never acknowledged. I decided to go sit at the bar table next to my friend and maybe this bartender will ask something then. 30 minutes passed and still nothing. My friend asked if I wanted food, I said no I’m still waiting for someone to take my drink order. His eyes opened up, now he realizes I exist. It wouldn’t bother me so much if it was a busy night but for good amount of time it was just the 2 of us there and everyone else were employees. There is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE to not acknowledge someone at a bar and see if they needed anything for that long. At that point I made up my mind, this is a terrible hotel to stay at for someone like me. I never like to complain and make a big deal out of things but the repetitive discrimination in this hotel was just too much for me to not say anything. I’ve stayed at an Mgallery hotel in Budapest the Nemzeti, and that was by far a much more superior hotel as far as service goes. Everything else at the Palladio met my standards. The room was clean but the walls are thin, which is typical in older cities. The food was of good quality, taste, and presentation. The one employee that I was truly impressed with was the female attendant at the spa. She took the time to show the facility, answer questions, and made me feel like I was staying at a 5 star hotel. All in all this is a nice hotel, but that’s it for me. If the service doesn’t match the amenities then it’s not worth spending my money there. At this point it’s not a place that I would recommend to anyone of my status and stature.

We had a great time at the hotel. The rooms are clean, and the decoration is pleasant. The rain shower water pressure was great. Breakfast included in our fee was very good, with good options. We had dinner there and menu was good as well. The decoration is contemporary, but it did not feel cold. It had a very pleasant atmosphere. The location was great right in front of a park and 13 min walk from the Recoleta Cementary. We had a good time just walking around the neighborhood.
