The location was perfect, near almost everything in the central area. The only bad thing was the bed, which had a strange pillow top that caused us some pain in our backs. Besides that, it was a good experience overall.

The room was great, the bed was super comfortable, but we had several snags with the service, sadly, due to our flight being rebooked for the previous day, we arrived mid world cup game, which meant the staff was more worried with the score than with us, so we ended up standing there trying to figure out the rooms for quite a while. The flight rebooking also mean that we had to scramble to add another day to our stay, which happens and is not the hotel's fault, the problem was that the room we moved to had not been cleaned, the bed had been made, but the bathroom was dirty and the trash still had used toilet paper in it.

I was in Buenos Aires for eight nights for a conference, which took place at the Centro Cultural de la Cooperación Floreal Gorini down the street. The location of Ibis Obelisco is excellent. The staff were super-friendly and helpful. The hotel and my room were pleasant, clean, and comfortable. I had a wonderful view of the Palacio Barolo. By the end of my stay, Ibis Obelisco felt like a home away from home!

I really enjoyed my stay in Ibis Buenos Aires Obelisco! The room was clean and comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was great, and all the people at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is downtown, and was located very near the conference I was attending, but also within walking distance of many sightseeing stops, restaurants, cafes, gift shops, etc. I'll definitely be staying there again next time I'm in Buenos Aires!
