The room was large, comfortable and impeccable. Service on check in was good, polite and efficient if a bit corporate (I expect this is due to the type of hotel and I was quite happy with the level of service from the front desk staff). The only issue I had was with the breakfast, which was a bit basic. The location didn't feel comfortable or welcoming, the staff a bit slow and the food on offer not as good as I've come to expect from Sofitel hotels. I will definitely go back, but breakfast will have to improve for me to give it a 10.

Public areas are gorgeous, staff is nice, location is convenient. But the rooms an outdated, worn, and noisy. You can hear your neighbors and the hall traffic.

We spent a night at Sofitel in BA following a cruise. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite about 20 people arriving simultaneously following cruise and others guests already at hotel checking out, checking was swift and efficient. Concierge and door-men also offered helpful advice for nearby restaurants and shopping. Room was nice and clean

My family had dinner at the Sofitel and it was amazing! Ekaterina was our waitress and she was absolutely the best! All of the food was very good and the steaks were some of the best we have ever had. Highly recommend this place for dinner.
