We've stayed at the Ibis Brighton several times before and have always had a great stay. The hotel location is really convenient for the railway station - being almost next door and is central to everything in Brighton - shops, restaurants, pubs cafes etc. The staff are always really friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean, fresh and what you would expect from a budget hotel - basic but clean with a very comfortable bed, great shower and tea making facilities. My only complaint about our last stay was the curtains/blackout blinds. Well, they weren't! It didn't matter how hard we tried to move them - they were in three sections - we couldn't keep the light out which is very frustrating when you want to get a good night sleep. Everything else was very good, but apart from moving rooms (and the new room might have had the same problem), there was nothing we could do. Anyway, we were only booked for one night and we put up with it, but please Ibis, get it fixed and put up some decent blackout curtains.

Good spot for a short visit to Brighton. Close to the station, The Lanes and the theatre district. Room was on the eighth floor and had a great view out over the city.

Just enjoyed another lovely break at ibis Brighton City Centre - Station and everything was perfect! Received a great friendly greeting from staff on reception on our arrival.
