The bed was super comfy, the room was smaller than we originally thought but we didn’t spend much time in there besides sleeping. Some areas of the room could have been cleaned a bit better but overall the important things like the bed, shower, and toilet were clean. Staff were all super friendly and helpful.

Enjoyable stay,disappointed that Accor club discounts not applied to final account

Dear Peter, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback from your stay with us here at the ibis Sydney Barangaroo. It is so lovely to hear you enjoyed the fantastic location of the hotel and its spectacular surroundings. I am sorry to hear that your Accor discount was not applied. We have since checked why it was rejected by our system and can see that the Explorer membership expired on the 31/03/26. This means that it had reverted back to the standard ALL Gold membership. You have still retained your status and points however unfortunately the F&B discount is not applicable. Please let us know if you are interested in renewing this for another year and we would be happy to send you details as well as backdate the discount. It was hard to find where to park to check in , the location was great with Darling Harbour, friendly staff, The bathroom had no Fan so misted up very quickly.

Simple basic room as expected, attention to detail wasn’t the best. Cleaning behind the door, wiping dust around the edge of the room.

Reception and cleaning staff were very polite and helpful. The staff in the little Cafe were delightful and deserve acknowledgement. Barangaroo is a great location, a 3 minute walk to the ferries and 5 mins to the station. The rooms are very neat and clean but very small. Unfortunately we had a room that overlooked the expressway and, even with double glazing, it was very noisy. Ask for a front facing room if you visit.
