Checkin, room, stay was great. However the pillows are enormous (profile) and not practical for sleeping without ending up with a sore neck.

The Novatel is a standard Accor property that is well located with parking( very tight). The staff are lovely but they need lots more training. If dining please ask if I would like a drink while I review the menu. Please don’t leave empty glasses etc on empty tables for over an hour. The restaurant should not serve my main and side separately. The pate is lovely but the butter duck is a waste of time, too much butter and Brioche is too sweet. Also a cheeseboard should not come with BBQ sauce.

We live on the 22nd floor, but the lift only goes up to the 21st, which means we had to carry all our luggage upstairs ourselves which is extremely inconvenient and unfriendly for guests. Additionally, my card was charged for breakfast even though we did not order it. I had to enquire about the charge in order to get it refunded.

For almost $400 per night, a gloomy room looking into a dark carpark with scaffolding. Shower: temperature fluctuated constantly between cool and scalding. Big bags of laundry and rubbish down the corridor all day until 5pm

The room was set on 16, it was freezing upon entering. Never seen a room be set at this temperature before. The toilet seat was broken The shower had no water pressure and the water temperature was not manageable The bathroom was tiny. You can’t move in the space. Overall this did the job for the one night but it convinced it that we would rather pay more to get a better experience.
