We live on the 22nd floor, but the lift only goes up to the 21st, which means we had to carry all our luggage upstairs ourselves which is extremely inconvenient and unfriendly for guests. Additionally, my card was charged for breakfast even though we did not order it. I had to enquire about the charge in order to get it refunded.

The room was set on 16, it was freezing upon entering. Never seen a room be set at this temperature before. The toilet seat was broken The shower had no water pressure and the water temperature was not manageable The bathroom was tiny. You can’t move in the space. Overall this did the job for the one night but it convinced it that we would rather pay more to get a better experience.

Left my driver's licence in room and had to go thru a 3rd company to get it back. Cost of $34.95 when it would have so much easier to pop it into an envelope and mail.

Halls not clean - there was chip in the entry to the lift the entire 3 days we stayed. Check in on a computer was not personable. Breakfast buffet lacked regular cleaning - plates dirty on the plate shelves. Overall experience lacked 4 star for a Novotel. Lady at reception who held our car spot was appreciated. As a gold accor member - no welcome gift in the room and could not tell what the 'upgrade' room was.
