The airconditioner in our room sounded like I was in an aircraft on medium and on low it barely blew any air, especially bad during heat wave conditions. As a result I only got 2 hours sleep, before going to a conference. The glass in the bathroom door meant I was disturbed by the light when my husband went in during the night too. Otherwise the room was very nice, but it was the worst night I have ever experienced in a hotel.

The power was out when we went to check in which I'm sure wasn't the hotels fault, however, we left our bags there and went out for the day but when we came back they were just being held by a plastic chain in the lobby which seemed very odd. The after hours room service has only 2 items on it and they're not really a late night vibe.. maybe add some fries on. Otherwise its a good location and nice room.

I have to stay in the city for work and have stayed a few times but have had average experiences. This stay, the cleaners didn’t empty the bins so I asked for it to be done at reception and asked for a thin pillow, went out for dinner, came home late the bins and pillow hadn’t been attended to. So I had to phone reception again and stay up late whilst waiting for the pillow. The breakfast is very average compared to others. Fried eggs/omelettes better than scrambled eggs. I have a few more bookings coming up soon and will reconsider whether I book the Novotel or the Grace, for example.
