I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing. I had to leave my stay early due to unforeseen circumstances and contacted the hotel to see if they could offer any flexibility for the unused night. While I understand I had booked a prepaid, non-refundable rate, I was hoping for a goodwill gesture such as a credit for a future stay. Unfortunately, the hotel simply referred to the booking terms and declined to offer any form of assistance or compromise. As an ALL Gold member who regularly stays with Accor properties, I expected a much higher level of customer service and discretion. The issue wasn’t the policy itself, it was the complete lack of empathy or willingness to find a reasonable solution. Many hotels will at least consider offering a future credit in situations like this, but that wasn’t the case here. Sadly, this has been my most disappointing experience with an Accor hotel, and it has made me reconsider where I’ll book future business travel.

The lady on the front desk provided great service and allowed us to check in slightly early, which was greatly appreciated. The 1.4% certain credit card surcharge was not clear when scanning my card, and on the email is down the bottom amongst a bunch of disclaimer stuff so I didn’t appreciate that coming through separately (where usually a surcharge gets added on and included within the one transaction) so that felt misleading and annoying, again the lady on reception handled this well. The towels and face washers were dirty. This is a repeat problem that I’ve had in your hotel. The floors were extremely dusty. There were more than two pieces of rubbish on the floor plus literally mounds of dirt or dust under the lounge. Additionally, after checking out, I received an additional charge for using the mini bar, which I never used. I thought on checking in that it wasn’t a full mini bar however thought it must’ve just been lighter offering and it’s not like there’s a menu there for that or room service. The bar stopped coffee before 9pm, 1 staff was very arrogant and had BO that could be smelt from across the counter. The location and some service was good.
