One till to order drinks and dinner for the whole hotel - thats ridiculous so everyone is waiting. Rooms are clean but tired. No upgrade when its make no difference to you - not like someone is going to rock up and buy those rooms after I check in at 7pm. Lost opportunity. F&B overpriced - you are charging luxury prices and you are not luxury at the IBIS. $300 - I could stay at the sofitel for that and go out for breakfast.

The room was in very poor condition (probably the poorest condition of a Hotel I have ever stayed in for Business). Shower leaked, carpet had stains, broken towel rail, over all the room looked like a Youth Hostel rather than a hotel... it was very tired and in need of a freshen up to justify the room rate. I stayed here 12 months prior and it was just as bad back then, so I was hoping that it would be fixed by now, but this was not the case.

My clothesline was broken, then i requested for clothes hangers, they said yes but it didnt came. The staff at the frontdesk needs to be more accommodating, since they are in a hospitality business. Apart from that, everything went well.

Friendly, helpful staff and location is good. This hotel is very run down and needs work. Shower was dripping all the time, decor is dated, large amount of wear and tear. Lifts were very slow and need upgrade. Very few amenities provided. No water provided in the room.

I have stayed at ibis Sydney Darling Harbour regularly for the past 10 years, and my experiences have generally been very good. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet the standard I have come to expect. My room was located on the first floor, which was not a particularly good location. More importantly, the room was not cleaned every day. When I asked about this, I was told that I needed to notify reception before 10:00 a.m. each day if I wanted the room serviced. As an Accor Gold member and a long-term returning guest, I would normally expect a better-positioned room and consistent housekeeping. Having to contact reception every morning is not practical, especially when I leave the hotel very early. After many positive stays, this experience was disappointing. I hope the hotel reviews its housekeeping policy and provides clearer information to guests at check-in.

Room was old and in need of a refresh. Shower was in a poor state. Yes it was clean but it had marks on the floor, tiles and the grout around the shower was bad. I will not be staying at this location again. I stay at ACOR hotels frequently and this was the worst one I have visited

Passageways and general cleanliness was poor. Hotel is very old and air conditioning didn’t seem to work. Noise from neighbouring showers disturbs sleep. Bathroom leaked from shower
