Due to a problem with the All Accor reservation app, our booking appeared to be completed but wasn’t visible on the main system. After one hour discussion with the staff upon arrival and 3/4h on the next morning, the manager could solve the problem. Thanks again to him !

Fixed temperature for all rooms

Although they claim to have air conditioning - as all other Ibis I've been around the world -, they have fixed temperature for all bedrooms for hot days (25°C or 77°F) and cooler days (19°C or 66.2°F). Coming from the tropics myself, I could never fathom to sleep in a sauna. We expect the same quality throughout the chain and this was a serious disappointment. Besides, TV didn't work and the drain was clogged. On the bright side, the rooms were clean.

I enjoyed staying at the Ibis Santa Coloma because of the location: it is not that close to downtown, but the L1 subway is just 10 minutes away by foot. The advantage is that is not a touristic area At night it is very quiet, so that you can have a good rest. The rooms are tidy and big. Breakfast is very rich and the hotel staff is extremely kind and helpful. The only reason I am not giving 10, though, is the quality of the English spoken by the staff: rather poor. In an hotel with guests coming from all over the world, staff should be trained better and more accurately in foreign languages. Anyway: if I had the chance, I would definitely go back to these hotel.

The rooms were very "tired" at first there was not even a towel for the second guest, they only remove the rooms early in the morning if you left but after 12 the room will not be removed. The staff at breakfast should be noted separately - during the reception of breakfast, personsremove tables sprinkle around the table cleaning equipment and this means comes to food, hand transfer food on the rags.
