We recently stayed at an Ibis hotel in Barcelona and overall had a decent experience. The location is very convenient, and the amenities are quite good, including a private garage and a small restaurant/bar on site. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, which made our stay pleasant. That said, there were a few drawbacks. There were no toiletries provided in the bathroom (although you can request them at reception), and no complimentary tea or coffee—only water. There’s also no mini fridge in the room, which would have been useful. We completed the early online check-in, but unfortunately still had to go through the full check-in process upon arrival. The receptionist explained they were using a new system, but the delay was quite long—especially challenging as we were traveling with a newborn and a dog. While the hotel is pet-friendly, dogs are not allowed in the bar area, which felt a bit contradictory. Overall, it’s a good option for a short stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

As long as you're ok with travelling from the airport (about 50mins on a good day), this hotel is in a really nice location, close to plenty of places to eat/drink with a convenient shop (condis) just across the road. The hotel was clean and tidy, bed was perfect for my back and I slept really well. I stayed in a road overlooking the main road which some reviewers previously had said could be quite loud but I didn't have any issues, guess that will come down to how sensetive your ears are!
