There are no massive drawbacks that come to mind when I think of my stay. The only "issues" that come to mind are the lack of communication from the front desk prior to my arriva when I emailed for some clarifications and the manner in which two employees ignored me at the reception until a third one (Alba I believe) came from the back office to assist me.

From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how seamlessly everything seemed to work, no unnecessary fuss, just efficient service and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately put me at ease after a long journey. The check-in process was quick and smooth, handled by friendly staff who were both professional and approachable. They provided clear information about the hotel’s amenities and the surrounding neighborhood, which made settling in effortless. My room, though not extravagant, was exceptionally well-designed. Every detail felt intentional: a comfortable bed with crisp linens, effective lighting, and a clean, modern bathroom stocked with all the essentials. It was the kind of space that allowed me to relax instantly, whether I was returning from a day of sightseeing or simply enjoying a quiet evening indoors. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the bed itself. It was incredibly comfortable, firm enough to provide support yet soft enough to feel indulgent. After long days exploring Barcelona, I found myself looking forward to returning to the room just to unwind and rest. The soundproofing was also impressive; despite being in a lively city, my nights were peaceful and uninterrupted. The breakfast had a very good selection that was varied and fresh, including pastries, fruits, cereals, and hot options. It wasn’t overly elaborate, but it was consistently good and provided the perfect start to each day. The dining space itself was bright and relaxed, making it easy to linger over coffee and plan the day. The hotel’s location proved to be highly convenient. While not directly in the busiest tourist center, it was well-connected by public transport, allowing easy access to Barcelona’s major attractions. At the same time, the surrounding area felt more local and less crowded, which added to the authenticity of the experience. Nearby shops, cafes, and parks offered plenty to explore without needing to venture far. Another aspect that made my stay particularly enjoyable was the staff’s attentiveness. Whether I needed directions, recommendations, or assistance with small requests, they were always ready to help with genuine friendliness. Their approach created a sense of ease and reassurance throughout my stay. Over the course of five nights, the consistency of comfort became the defining feature. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard, amenities were always replenished, and everything functioned reliably. Room was hot all night, even when the thermostat was lowered. The humidity is high and gives a musty smell. The walls and being are thin and it gets loud.
