The hotel staff was always super helpful and ready to assist whenever I had any issues. Everyone was super welcoming and friendly. The hotel is also lovely! Located next to an El Corte Ingles that was great for some shopping and for groceries, and the SOM shopping center is also super close by. Overall such a great experience! Thank you :)

Hotel location is ok (12m walking distance from metro, area seems safe in the evening too even if not very central, I've been using metro all the time). Great reception (fast and helpful), good breakfast service. There is a small vending machine at the reception should you need (toothbrush/paste, charging cables, period pad, earphones, ...). Only 2 elevators can be quite busy when groups of people check-in. Rooms are a bit small (only few shelves and a small desk, no wardrobe or drawers), toilets could be better (very small, kind of plastic bathroom pod) even though clean and working fine. We had 2 rooms, A/C was noisy in one of them (I read similar comments). Overall I would suggest it for short stays (2-3 nights)

I’m very pleased with our stay. This hotel offers great value for money, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable experience. I was particularly impressed by the thoughtful touches — I even received a birthday card and a drink, while my son was given balloons to play with, which was a lovely surprise. Both check-in and check-out were quick and efficient, and we were allocated a room on the 5th floor with a great view over the city, exactly as I had requested. We were also able to leave our luggage in a secure room after checking out, with no fuss or additional charge. This is something I really appreciate, as I’ve noticed that many places nowadays try to charge for what used to be a basic and perfectly reasonable hotel service. Frankly, it’s almost as annoying as having to pay extra just to sit with your own family on a flight! The hotel itself is away from the main tourist areas, but it is conveniently located close to two metro stations, with some shops and plenty of restaurants nearby. For us, it was a great find — a comfortable, well-located hotel with genuinely friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely consider staying at ibis Barcelona Meridiana again the next time we visit Barcelona.

The hotel is well-maintained however I reserved a double bed and received two twins. When I inquired at front desk I was erroneously told I had reserved the two twins.

Let me start by saying you won't regret booking this hotel. It is located a walking distance from the metro, local shops and a shopping centre with mercadona next to the hotel. My children loved the stay and the area just as much as I did. We can't to comeback.

Everything was great overall. Everyone was very kind, helpful, and treated us with a lot of respect. The breakfast was deliciousness. My only recommendation would be to replace the towels because they are old and worn out. They feel very rough, almost like sandpaper. Other than that, we had a very good experience.

We stayed for just two nights but found the hotel comfortable and cool, especially on what turned out to be the hottest day recorded in Barcelona. We were well looked after by friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was great too, good choice of lovely fresh foods and excellent value for money. A convenient location, with a Mercadona right next door, and a very short walk to the metro. Thank you - we’d happily stay here again

A really nice stay! Nice clean rooms, staff were really nice! Nothing seemed a bother. A tiny fly in the ointment… The TV in the room is 96% Spanish channels, no complaints as your in Spain! But I normally hook up an iPhone so we can watch a little telly. But the HDMI ports were all disabled. I would have given a 10/10 if we could have got that option.

The room itself was rather rundown. The bathroom was OK and mostly clean. Worst thing was that we had to wait almost an hour in the middle of the night for check-in due to technical issues without any compensation.

Easy connections to Catalunya Circuit for the F1 and to/from the Barcelona International Airport. King size bed is awesome. Recommended.
