Amazing family stay, excellent service and value! we been 6-night stay at ibis Barcelona Meridiana and was truly amazing. We travelled as a family (2 adults and 1 child), and the triple room with the nice Bed was incredibly comfortable and clean (not to big, but we understand because of the price). A huge thank you to the staff; everyone was so kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We also loved the breakfast it was fresh, full of variety, and offered great value for the price.

The location is too far from the center. The nearest metro is 15 minutes by foot. Even though I requested a quiet room, they gave me a room across from the elevator. Two of three nights, we woke up because of the noise. The staff are rude. We paid the room before coming. We asked three times for the receipt. While we were checking out they gave it. The rooms are worse than they appear on the website. The beds are comfortable and clean. Service in Spain is generally strange. For example, at breakfast, I tell them the kettle is out of water, and they fill it up and tell me to boil it. NEVER, EVER, EVER call a taxi from the hotel. We asked reception for a taxi to get to the airport. A Caddy arrived for the six-person airport transfer. Naturally, it couldn't fit six people and six suitcases. They've made a deal with the taxi drivers supposedly; the biggest taxi here is a Volkswagen Caddy. LIE! As if it is the biggest taxi in Barça. They said they'd ask for a second taxi. So, double price. That's what the receptionist said at first. But the problem is we came to the hotel in a six-person minibus taxi. When we said we knew the largest taxi in Barcelona wasn't a Caddy, he said it would take a while to get here. We called for a taxi ourselves, using the freeway app. In 2 minutes the minibus has arrived for six people. But we were late for the airport. We were cold on the street. An attitude and service that does not suit Ibis at all. We were never satisfied.
