I've stayed here before and knew what to expect. It's deteriorated a bit though - the casing of the window blind fell off when I opened it, and they no longer have kettles in the rooms so you have to go to the tea room on floor one when you want a hot drink. It's a long way from floor seven to floor one.

Had a great stay. Matt was great in the restaurant as was everyone. Still annoys me no tea and coffee in rooms. I dont want tramp on my pyjamas down a few floors to a coffee room. Tea has yo be drunk when you first get up.

Great location but very basic room. Struggled with disinfectant smell which hurt my eyes. Also noticed in the morning there was a large pool of water under the sink and checking, saw the bin was full of water and obvious leak under the sink. My case was next to sink and got wet. Did report to receptionist. The spare loo roll which I went to use for leak wasn’t clean was full of dust obviously been there ages and not checked.

I am particularly concerned to hear about the strong disinfectant smell that caused irritation to your eyes, as well as the leak beneath the sink that left a pool of water on the floor and resulted in your suitcase getting wet. I can appreciate how frustrating and upsetting this must have been, especially when you discovered it in the morning. I am also sorry that the spare toilet roll was dusty and clearly had not been checked properly. Please accept my sincere apologies for these shortcomings. We aim to provide every guest with a clean, comfortable and well-maintained room, and on this occasion, we clearly fell short of the standards we expect. Thank you for bringing these matters to our receptionist's attention, and I will ensure your feedback is shared with the relevant teams so that the maintenance issue and our room-checking procedures can be addressed. We felt the accommodation was very good value, clean etc. Our only issue was that lights in the bedroom were far too bright with no option to dim them or only have some of the lights on.

The room had a double bed and a single bunk bed above it. I had a tv and access to tea and coffee facilities, which I could use at any time, free of charge. The shower and toilet facilities where excellent.

I was flying in 1 am arrived at 1:30 at the hotel had to wait 10 minutes. No one was at the desk and then a man come to the desk half eating food and chewing eventually gave me hotel card got up to the seventh floor and the road was at the end of the hall so walked down went in and it was like a hostel there was no bin in the room, hair on the bed, white marks over the desk and electrics all open by the bed and in the bathroom the toilet roll was half used so they didn’t replace it but it was the cheapest toilet roll I’ve ever seen it. I slept over the covers as I didn’t want to get in the covers seeing as there was hair on when I first came in the room bus hotel I’ve ever stayed at specially after a late flight.
