This property is ran down and should not be a part of Ibis chain. The rooms are very dated, carpets are extremely dirty, the furniture is tired and damaged, wibdows are very old (due to rain water was leaking inside and running down the wall - mold under the window due to humidity), there is a bad smell in the corridors and in the bathroom (smells of sewage). The only positive thing is the bed which was comfortable and the breakfast which was good. Ibis should definitely do something about this property as soon as possible. As it is now I will not recommend this hotel until the problems get fixed.

We often stay at the Ibis in Ambilly. It is a very comfortable and calm experience. The refurbished room is clean, tidy and spacious, the bed is large and comfortable, the breakfast is great and the staff are lovely.

We stayed for nine nights for a family visit. It was easy, comfortable and trouble-free. The bed was large and comfortable, the view pleasant, the room light and airy, and the breakfast good. The hotel is well situated and the free parking is a real bonus. The only slight negative was the key cards - I suggest an investment in new cards that last more than half a day.

A very pleasant eleven day stay over christmas and the new year. The room was comfortable, with a large and very good bed. The facilities were adequate - we brought our own kettle and mugs and charging adapters. Most of the staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, with a variety of different foods, including warm. The coffee wasnt too good - all machines vary. The free parking was a bonus for us, and the location was execellent.

The receptionist told me it was mandatory to pay for the reservation by bank card, regardless of whether I paid in cash since I had made the reservation online, and that the money would be automatically refunded the next day. That never happened! In other words, I paid in cash and by card—I paid twice!

Bonjour, Vous n'avez pas payé deux fois monsieur, vous avez effectué votre règlement en espèces et nous vous avons demandé une pré-autorisation qui est obligatoire dans notre établissement (ceci est noté sur tout nos sites de réservations) en carte bancaire et ce pour couvrir d'éventuelles consommations par exemple. Il ne s'agit pas d'un paiement mais d'un blocage d'un montant. Ce blocage peut apparaitre sur votre compte bancaire mais il ne s'agit en aucun cas d'un paiement. Votre pré-autorisation a été clôturé sans débit, nous vous invitons à contacter votre banque car il s'agit ici de délai bancaire dont nous ne sommes pas responsable. Cordialement

We stayed for a week. The recently refurbished room was great and the bed was fantastic. The not-so-recently refurbished heating was not too good. Set to 30C the room was probably around 20C maximum. The breakfast was good, with a good variety. Some of the staff were very helpful, some could do with training on how to talk to clients. Overall it was a good week. The proximity to the tram and the easy free parking made our stay enjoyable.

The air conditioning was not working well. Despite complaints and a request to change rooms no help was provided. Complained via an email and was told that they cannot be held responsible for the heat wave. In my opinion this means the air conditioning could not cope with the heat.

Très sale nous avons vue 6 chambres. , toute non nettoyer , le réceptionniste nous a confirmé que ce n était pas vérifié , nous avons jamais vu un hôtel dans cette état , nous avons u affaire a un réceptionniste incompétent et la seule réponse donnée c est allé pas dans un autre hôtels du groupe accord ici il sont aussi sale que nous et tout cela devant d’autre client nous avons préféré quitter nous avons les photos de l hôtel prise
