The room and bathroom needed upgrading particularly the latter which in many ways was very poor in the relation to the quality of a Mercure. On the other hand the staff were excellent.

I had a pleasant stay at Hôtel Mercure Annemasse Porte de Genève. The location is convenient if you don’t mind a bit of walking: it takes about 25 minutes to reach the tram that goes directly into Geneva. The area is calm, and getting to the city feels easy once you’re on the tram. The staff were extremely responsive and helpful throughout my stay. Every interaction felt warm and professional, and they were quick to assist with anything I needed. I also enjoyed the hotel’s restaurant. The food was well prepared, and the overall dining experience was comfortable and relaxed. Overall, a good stay with attentive service, decent dining, and straightforward access to Geneva.
