Finding a used razor in the bathroom waste bin is completely unacceptable, and the loose shower partition and overall cleanliness concerns only added to what was clearly a very unpleasant experience. I fully understand why you felt so disappointed, particularly given the standards you rightly expect from Sofitel. Arriving at 9pm with a young child, you should have found the cot you had requested ready in your room, without having to follow up repeatedly. I am particularly disappointed that, despite your further requests, the necessary bedding was not provided, leaving you with no alternative but to have your toddler sleep in your bed and resulting in a disrupted night's rest for your family. Please accept my personal apologies. This was a straightforward request that should have been handled properly, and I fully appreciate the frustration and discomfort it caused. We chose the Sofitel London Heathrow for its proximity to Terminal 5. It was easy to reach the hotel from that terminal, and we found the check-in process to be quick and efficient. Our room was very comfortable, although we wish there had been more electrical outlets (including USB) at the bedsides. Most of these were located across the room at the desk. Aside from this, we really enjoyed the room, and the bathroom shower was impressive.

The business center was unattended and neither of the computers were working. The bar was late opening because of a private event and we got conflicting information from three different staff.

The hotel is comfortable and well located for a LHR stay/layover. The only issue was I reserved for late checkout, was told on check-in it wasn’t available. Luckily a manager intervened and got me late checkout. But it seems I was checked out at normal time because room attendants came to clean (sent them away) and when I charged lynch to my room, the restaurant manager told me my account had been closed. He addressed this with the front desk and got me new room keys, making it right in the end, but for a paid add-on offered by the hotel, the hotel staff seemed ill-prepared to accommodate the promised offering without snafus.

I have always had a good experience at Sofitel. However, when we checked in and got to the room I don't think it had been cleaned good enough because we found toothpaste in the sink and hair in the shower.

There was a used razor in the waste basket in the bathroom when I arrived, the partition for the shower was lose, overall the room looked dirty....it was so far from what I expect from Sofitel that I could not wait to leave

We arrived at 9pm with our toddler and despite having booked a cot on arrival There was no cot in the room. We asked for a cot and one arrived, with no duvet. We then asked for a duvet but no duvet arrived. In the end our toddler had to sleep in our bed and as a result we did not sleep.
