My husband suddenly became ill in the middle of the night and was taken to hospital by ambulance. Throughout the ordeal (we had to cancel our trip) the hotel was caring, helpful and made us feel we were not alone. This was no 'ordinary' hotel experience and no 'ordinary' hotel management. The duty manager went beyond the call of 'duty' and we knew we were in good hands. What was meant to be a 2 week holiday became a 2 night stay at the hotel after the day we had hoped to travel became an eleven hour stint at A&E at East Surrey Hospital. The doctors said my husband was not well enough to travel home, but the hotel stepped in and all of us in the party (2 bedrooms) were accommodated for a second night and rooms were changed so I could be supported by our friend. Nothing was too much for them. Thank you Emi, and Accor!
