Stayed at Sofitel North Gatwick many times before flying out the next day. We've always found the staff to be friendly and welcoming, room clean and acceptable. We tend to use the bar and eat from their menue as this suits us rather than use one of the several restaurants.

Good check in but that was it. Room 836, very cold. We had the heater on full for 2 hours but this didn’t heat the room. Called reception and they sent up an additional free standing heater. Millisime Lounge was awful, again very cold. The heating wasn’t working at all in there so I assume the heating problem affected the entire 8th floor. Duty manager was useless… told us we needed to get onto Holiday Extras who we booked through. We won’t be using Sofitel again.

I stay in the Gatwick Sofitel a lot for work. The staff are all very friendly, but special mention for Velino who always looks after me - especially when my wife comes to visit for a day or two. Thanks Velino!
