First, upon arrival on Friday around 3:00 pm, the receptionist contacted housekeeping to confirm that our room was ready. We were informed it was ready, but when we entered the room, the door was open and the floor was extremely dirty, clearly indicating the room had not been prepared. A housekeeper arrived seconds later and asked us to leave the room while she finished cleaning, and we waited in the corridor for about five minutes. When we finally returned to the room, although the floor had been cleaned, several long hairs remained on the floor. In addition, one of the towels provided was damaged and had holes in it. After the first night, we placed the blue “Make up my room” sign on the door at around 10:20 am. When we returned at about 10:00 pm that evening, no cleaning or servicing had been done. Finally, on both nights, we were repeatedly woken up by noise from a group occupying much of the 5th floor. The room doors are very poorly soundproofed, and we heard shouting and loud laughter in the corridor. Allocating us a room on the same floor as a large group was inappropriate, and we should have been placed on another floor as a precaution. Since the day of my check-out, management has been reviewing my complaint through Accor Customer Care, but no solution or response has been provided, either by the hotel or Customer Care. It has been two months. Unacceptable and very disappointing.

A basic hotel room but with excellent value for money. Right next to the train station, near a supermarket too. Clean room too. I'd have preferred to have a firmer/better pillow and the shower gel to have been topped up. But minor things and I'd definitely stay again

This hotel is very near the train station which is useful. However, it was unfortunate that there was no Bar or Food available other than a small vending machine. The reception was not always attended and granted it is an inner city hotel it didn’t feel totally safe. I went downstairs to get an extra pillow and waited for 10 minutes and there was no one there.
