Its just so happened that during my stay I came a bit early than check in time and checking my chance if they can accomodate me as I have a special meeting I need to attend. The lady in the reception is well organize and explained it nicely. It was a busy day and she did her best to accomodate me I waited for quite sometime but that is ok as I arrived early. When I arrived in my room theres a fan and this made my stay extra special because it really helps with the hot weather.

The staff is great and helpful, the hotel is easy to find but we did have the misfortune of having a room with the view on the construction work in the front building, made a lot of noise pretty early in the morning, not the hotel's fault though. Cleaning wise it wasn't the best, dust on the cupboards, stains everywhere...

Disappointed with the room when I came in there was no shower gel and most importantly there was air conditioning or even a fan and it was 34degrees out there , so they told me to leave the window open which I felt really uncomfortable. So really disappointed.

Room was OK. Expected a bit more for breakfast. Atleast scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage especially if you are paying for breakfast. Having a baguette from a minimal would have been more satisfying for the price I paid for breakfast. There was only apples for fruit. Not even any bananas or any other fruit. Holiday Inn Express has a bit more even thought limited, there is some hot food available. Very disappointing even for a budget hotel.

Room fine but no aircon so we had to have the window open, but there were building works across the road that started before 6.00 am! So not the hotel’s fault but we didn’t sleep well. Car park very close by. Very helpful staff.

The reception couldn't find my reservation just with my ID, I had to prove my reservation with the booking email. The room didn't have any type of ventilation and the window opens just a few centimeters, which is horrible for the summer.

Close to train station and the room was a good size BUT there needs to be a disclaimer that there is no air conditioning. Being from the USA I assume ever hotel will have air conditioning.

At this day and age, especially in the summer and only a few days after the European heatwave, this hotel is still not equipped by any ventilator. No electric fans, no AC! Not every guest who books hotels are aware that the Ibis budget hotels do not have AC by default. Not even a fan! We could not open the windows because it was nailed shut!! We were so tired to even compain and ask the frontdesk for a fan (although I doubt they have one to lend their guests). The hotel lobby is fully airconditioned, but why aren't the rooms??? I couldn't stress this enough. It was not indicated when I booked and paid for the room. We were not informed that we were booking a room in hell.

We were given an early complimentary check-in but the first room we got was facing a construction site. However after speaking to receptionist we were immediatelly moved to another, more quiet room. Unfortunatelly our stay was during the "heatwave" in June so we could feel the non-existing aircondition in our room. However we made the best out of it by exploring Antwerp until late night and then slept by opening our window until early morning.
