Major renovations taking place. Awoken at 9AM each morning by workman drilling and banging. No bar as advertised because of renovation work. Not given forewarning that work was taking place. Compensation was warm bottle water!

We sincerely apologize that your experience fell short in other areas. During the renovation works, we do everything we can to keep the inconvenience to a minimum. The early disruptions caused by ongoing maintenance work are not reflective of our usual service. We acknowledge your feedback about the communication prior to your arrival and regret that the gestures (bottled water and exceptionally coffee and tea facilities in our standard rooms) provided did not meet your expectations. Your comments about connectivity have also been noted, as we continuously seek to enhance our guests’ comfort. We hope to be able to welcome you back on a return visit for an improved experience. Seeing the major refurbishment work that is ongoing was a bit of a shock upon arrival (improvised check-in area, dirty floors, time slot for breakfast since capacity is limited ...). Friendly staff, however, and the room was clean and on the quiet side of the building as requested. Breakfast was good.

Very noisy, they started renovating at 6am

It’s in the middle of a complete renovation. Not what I expected.
