Convenient, easy and good service

Everything was great. The only complaint is that the soap in the shower had not been refilled. I would also love a kettle in the room or nearby for making bedtime tea.

Playing with price due to fact that demand is high is a shame for ACCOR! The price of the room is completely out of scope when you see what the hotel is offering in tertms of services. Mostly nothing!

Nice hotel, not so nice staff

The hotel itself is great. Rooms are nice and clean and it appears updated and renovated. Convenient location on the market square, with inexpensive underground parking just across the street. They also have a bar with food available 24 hrs a day (I was told). I understand that some people are simply better suited to jobs that don't involve interacting with other people, and I am sure the woman who checked us in and took our food order has many great qualities and abilities, but unfortunately, working with people is not one of them. The interactions were so bad, it almost ruined our experience. We did not have any special requests at all, and yet we were treated as though checking-in and then ordering food that evening was a huge inconvenience to her and she was doing us a favor she did NOT want to be doing. I understand we all have days we don't want to be at work, but treating guests like they're unwanted because they showed up to their reservation is not a great way to handle those feelings. This hotel itself is a great value for money. I was thrilled because it's a convenient location for staying when visiting friends that we see every couple months, and it's better than where we had usually stayed. That being said, I'm not the first to complain about the staff being rude. And if management is clearly not responding to that issue, then I doubt we'll be back.
