As I i formed to the hotel staff, it was clear signes of that somebody had been in my room. Two types of foot prints in the bathroom and broken suitcase lock. The stay felt unsafe an creepy. This hotel needs a good cleaning. Extremely dirty walls.

Got a room via group booking. I am a gold member and mentioned this during checking. They said it doesn’t matter and didn’t bother taking the number. Cold atmosphere, other receptionist clearly annoyed by someone on the phone. No smiles, not a lot of enthusiasm. Got in the room. was clean. Woke up at night and realized they don’t offer water in the room. (Not even a bottle for sale.) When I mentioned the next day, they referred to a water station on level 1. Food in restaurant was mediocre. Overcooked or cold.

On your Gold membership, we regret this wasn't acknowledged upon check-in. While certain group bookings may have specific terms related to loyalty benefits, this should have been explained. We are also sorry to hear your arrival experience felt unwelcoming. The described behavior doesn't reflect our standards. The matter has been raised with the Front Office Manager, and the colleague involved will be addressed. Thank you for noting the cleanliness of your room. Yet, we regret the inconvenience caused by the absence of in-room water. While we do provide a water station as part of our sustainability efforts, we understand this may not meet all guest expectations. We value your feedback and hope to having the opportunity to welcome you again to provide a more improved experience.

Really good stay here again. Hotel was quiet and clean. Our Suite was very comfortable and spacious. Will definitely return in the future. Mechelen is a great city.
