We had no works scheduled in the hotel during your stay, but as our building is part of a connected row, the drilling may have come from an adjoining property beyond our control. The room had excellent facilities including iron and ironing board, usb points and several electricity sockets. there was air con and the curtains when drawn blocked out any light. Sachets of a variety of teas and coffee, sugar and creamer were renewed daily. The bedding and towels were sparkling white. the only disappointment were a few dirty marks on the carpet - not surprising, however in a busy hotel. The variety and choices, both hot and cold, at breakfast were excellent.
