Very average stay . As an Accor Diamond member who has recently moved from Australia to Europe it amazes me how European Accor Hotels do not care about a members status. This hotel was no different, no mention at check in, no thanks for your loyalty, no hand written card or small gift in the room, nothing at all, not a mention. Considering Accor originated in France you would think that Europe would really exhibit its appreciation for members, clearly not, they do not care at all. They should take some learnings from how the Australian Accor members look after their members. Overall over than this the hotel was well below average, uncomfortable bed , two singles jammed together, breakfast , hot food cold and well below standard. On the positive the meal in the restaurant was very good showcasing local cuisine.

Omar providing a really good service on the bar. Such a friendly guy!! Always asking if you need another drink with such a big smile! The bar itself is spotless, quaint, with a good selections of beer! Perfect if you are staying at the hotel or if you’re just passing by!

The Bar staff / food staff at the Mercury are AWESOME!!! Omar, Joy, and Jolene are AWESOME!! We have had a great time and they have made it even more so! We come here pretty often on business in the Diamond district, and visiting here is always a pleasure! They are friendly, attentive, and a joy to be around!

The rooms are very good sized; location excellent. Clean bathrooms. Our room was not ready when we arrived at 15:00 (it took around 30 more minutes). We had a coffee while waiting (which I thought was a complimentary coffee, but had to pay).

We take great pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, so we're pleased that you noticed the impeccable condition of our bathrooms. However, we sincerely apologize for the delay in having your room ready upon your arrival. We always strive to have rooms prepared as quickly as possible and we're sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. While we offer complimentary coffee and tea facilities in all our rooms, beverages ordered in our lounge bar do incur a charge. We'll review our communication on this to ensure clarity for future guests. Nevertheless, we're delighted that you appreciated our excellent location. The beautiful park nearby with its large playground for children is indeed a wonderful feature. Our hotel is situated in the heart of Antwerp's Diamond District, just a short walk from the Central Station and many of the city's attractions.
