We had a wonderful stay at Novotel Budapest Danube from 2–4 February 2026 during our honeymoon, and it was truly a memorable experience. The hotel’s location is simply fantastic, offering stunning views of the Danube and the magnificent Hungarian Parliament building right across the river. Waking up to such an iconic view made our stay even more special. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very professional throughout our stay. Check-in was smooth, the room was comfortable and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and relaxing. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options. Budapest was one of the highlights of our honeymoon, and Novotel Budapest Danube played a big part in making it so memorable. We are very grateful to the team for their hospitality and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city. We would love to return again in the future.

The location is great. There is some room for renovation, mainly in the lobby. Breakfast needs a new cook. Below the expected Novotel standard.

Great location. Magnificent views of the Parliament buildings and the Danube. Quick access to the tram and the metro, only a couple minutes walk Clean, safe, secure, comfortable room. And did I mention clean. The only thing noticed were a couple few white marks on the carpet - looked like drips of bleach. Staffing. Friendly, professional, helpful, efficient and effective. Every interaction with staff was more than wonderful. With extra mention to the front desk staff and the manager who assisted us in printing a document that was challenging. Noteworthy is how every staff member also spoke Canadian well.
