very nice location, good breakfast. cleanliness is just descent. comfortable bed, pillows and bed sheet of good quality. clean and fresh towels, quite important aspect. a bit outdated furniture and decoration in general, tiles in b room are depressing. personnel could be a bit more friendly. went to take my welcome drink and waiter who seems to have a lot of experience and strong personality was borderline rude with me. extremely expeditive, go sit there and wait i'll bring your drink....felt like i was a beggar asking for a free meal. i had to politely cool him down and urge him to use a different behavior.

room was not clean, AC did not work well and everyday I reminded the reception to look at it. They followed it but the other day it returns not working good. No bell people supported us. Room was not ready when we arrived despite the fact that the reservation was made long time before the arrival. this was not a good treatment to a diamond member.

The Buda location and view of the Parliament building is fabulous! The A/C was not working properly when we were there, which made sleeping miserable. We bought a fan at a nearby market to at least get the air moving.

My family had a lovely stay at the Novotel Danube. Located directly opposite the Parliment building and within walking distance of many lovely restaurants. Rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast deal of EUR10 for day was perfect!

Though i stayed only 1 night my expectations were exceeded. I reached early and was offered an early check in which i appreaciated. Staffs are friendly. Check in and out was seamless. Room was very clean and bed comfortable. Hotel location is great in Buda area few metres from metro station and tram.

I am very disappointed with the service I received during my stay. I booked an Executive Room, which includes four complimentary drinks replenished every day. Before going out, I specifically told the housekeeper that I wanted to skip room cleaning but would still like the complimentary drinks to be restocked. She agreed without any hesitation. However, when I returned to my room, the drinks had not been replenished at all. I went to the reception to explain the situation, but I was simply told that the housekeeper had already finished work, so there was nothing they could do. What made this even more frustrating was that the exact same drinks were available for purchase at the bar on the ground floor. Instead of finding a simple solution for a hotel guest who was entitled to those complimentary drinks, the hotel chose to do nothing. As a result, I had to pay for drinks that should have been provided free of charge as part of my room benefits. This was not about the value of the drinks—it was about the hotel’s attitude toward customer service. A promise was made, it was not fulfilled, and no reasonable effort was made to correct the mistake. I expected a much higher standard of service from an executive room, and this experience left me extremely disappointed with the hotel’s management and service quality.

We stayed for an overnight before a river cruise. The room was comfortable and quiet. Having a restaurant on site was great as we had been travelling for 24 hours and just wanted to eat and go to sleep. The food was excellent. We also had breakfast at the hotel, which had a large selection to choose from. The front desk helped us get a taxi to our destination. I would stay here again.
