I had a wonderful stay at the Mercure Budapest Castle Hill and was impressed by the overall experience. The room was beautiful, with modern decor and all the comforts I needed for a relaxing stay. As an Accor Gold Member, I was delighted to find a bottle of wine waiting for me in the room—a thoughtful touch that made me feel truly appreciated. The hotel’s location is fantastic, providing easy access to the stunning Castle Hill area and other key attractions in Budapest. The staff were friendly and professional, adding to the positive experience. This property goes above and beyond to recognize loyalty members and provide a memorable stay. I highly recommend it and would love to return in the future.

I had an amazing stay here with my friend during our travel to Budapest! The location of the hotel fantastic, with beautiful views. It was easy to reach, the center from here. The staff was incredibly kind, always ready to help with a smile. The food was delicious and offering a great variety. My room was very comfortable, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended for anyone!

The hotel is about five minutes' walk from Budapest Déli Station, where the Metro is located. Tram 56 / 56A runs outside and was useful in getting to Elizabeth Bridge. The Castle Hill is a little further away. The hotel is in the same building as the Mercure. I took photos with the old Trabant car in the lobby, but was unable to get the engine to start. Not sure how I would have driven it out through the rotating doors even if I had managed to 'borrow' the car. The room was a good size. It was very nice to receive a box of chocolates, based on my ALL status. There was a good choice of breakfast items, but I felt that the quality of the coffee could be improved. I only tried it once: after that I stuck with the juice. All in all, it was a comfortable stay. This is the hotel that I generally stay in when visiting Budapest.
