I often use Mercure, love this chain, but first time here in Budapest and first time i am so disappointed. Nice hotel. BUT 1.Room/bed: The pillows were terrible. Four pillows, all the are same . Very rigid, square, very thin to sleep on one and too thick to sleep on two. Looks like these pillows are designed for chairs to sit on them and wrapped in pillowcases. 2. Temperature in the room is not adjustable. Too hot . Thermostat runs A/C , but it didn't work, just buzzed too loud and started to smell. Heater next to window was off and cold, but it was still too hot. 3. Bathroom: tap on the sink - hot water on the left but Tap in the shower - hot water on the right:-) Not a big deal , but there are standards , guys! 4. I put on my door the tag to not disturb me, "i am dreaming", but service knocked to ask me if i used the mini bar! Really!? Is it urgent? Not possible on check out? 5. Restaurant: Great service, BUT! I took burger. It was delicious. But it was the smallest burger i ever seen in my life! Size of whole burger was like tennis ball! And it wasn't cheap. The cost was like normal size (~15 euro) Inform us in your menu, that it is piccolo burger or mini burger or baby burger!

It was Abad experience Staff very rude and racist towards arbs which not acceptable from staff in such hotel. Reported to duty manager and he ignored my complaint. No bellman to carry luggage. No slaper no Tothbrash It is the worst experience and worst hospitality I have ever seen. I was treated very badly with my family. Not recommended this hotel to anyone. Be aware of unprofessional staff and management.

I arrived around 12 and my room was already ready, that was a nice surprise. Breakfast was great, lots of choice, veggies, eggs, lots of healthy food. I also enjoyed the fitness room.

Location was ok, but apart from that it was a terrible experience compared to the expectations. I've arrived at 10am and they told me I can only checkin at 3pm, and when I've asked the checkout time they've said it's 12. And if I would like to checkin earlier I should be paying 10 euros per hour. ??? The room was so airless that every morning I got up with a headache. There are almost none bathroom amenities. And I cannot say the rooms are cleaned, just tidied. And I am coming to worst part: Breakfast! There are no omlettes or any kind of fried or pan eggs, just scrambled eggs which I suspect was made of eggs! And there are almost none chese. No orange juice. I had to eat boiled eggs everday.
