We had such an amazing trip although there in building work around the hotel the staff the hotel experience outwayed any doubts about it.
The staff cannot do enough for you the hotel is spotless everyone is so friendly and kind. The hotel is in a good location can get to everywhere in Dubai in basically 20 minutes.
Shoutout to waseem and the staff at breakfast. Every staff member we met at the hotel was lovely and we can’t wait to return purely because of this ! I have recommend to everyone since being home

My overall stay was great, the team did a great job and they didn’t disappoint with the room and the requests, however one thing to note, I think the ACs should be able to go below 20 C. Having a cold nice AC will immediately make my stay a 10.

I have no complaints other than - probably like all places in Dubai - the A/C was freezing! 18 degrees is too cold and a waste of energy. Even 20 would do. We alternated shutting it off and turning it on as we couldn't adjust it up evenly.

It is actually a bittersweet 'bad' experience only because saying goodbye after 100 days was so difficult. I truly felt like I was staying with my family, and the amazing staff became like close friends. While I managed to say goodbye to many of the wonderful employees before leaving, it was hard not being able to say farewell to everyone. Thank you to the entire team at SO/ Uptown Dubai for making this long stay feel like home; I will genuinely miss you all.

The stay was great. Construction was inconvenient but the hotel overall was exceptional. Had a small inconvenience in our room that prevented us from getting a good nights sleep, (vibration sounds from an unknown source) and the staff handled it very well and swiftly. We were compensated very nicely and left the hotel happy and satisfied.

I stayed many times but our last stay was a nightmare.Evening receptionists had bad attitude, no courtesy and duty manager is aggressive and unprofessional. We were discriminated. Even when we tried to book the room directly at the reception, first they told us hotel was fully booked! After showing them online availability, we got a room.
However, morning shift team is amazing and kind.
