Good hotel, but petty rule spoiled the day!

We stayed for one night on way back from Spain to UK. As a silver member of ALL Accor I received a voucher for a free welcome drink, but when trying to use it at the bar was told it was only for me, not the person travelling with me. This seems very petty, surely it should be one drink per person staying in the room. On the journey south a month ago the IBIS we stayed at did give us two vouchers (ie one drink each)

Met all expectations, in a great location to boot

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The room was small than we anticipated but had everything we needed. Considering the rainy weather, we were especially thrilled with the boot cleaning machine on floor 1. Staff was very welcoming and friendly each time we interacted. One minor thing: we would have preferred real glasses rather than paper cups and the two lone espresso capsules felt quite stingy. Otherwise, perfect, clean, offering a comprehensive breakfast buffet, and in an unbeatable location.
