The reception area is quite small and overshadowed by the faux tree and greenery in that area. The room cas generally clean except for the shower mat, which was quite dirty. I understand that this hotel is meant to be 'Green' and planet friendly. I did feel that some things were just too basic, such as the unplastered and unpapered walls and ceilings. The 'wardrobe' was a piece of wood fixed to the ceiling with string. The food area was quite small and with several guest there at the same time it was a little difficult to get to things. There was no lighting in the shower itself, making it a dark place to shower, however the overall room was satisfactory. I had chosen this hotel as I thought it was the previous Ibis hotel under a new name. That was my mistake but I had wanted to stay in this area to return to La Toscana restaurant nearby, after not being there for a long time. It was my wife's favourite restaurant in the area and it was my first visit since she died. Had I been a couple, (it was Valentine's day) I wouldn't have found the hotel very 'romantic' and my wife would not have liked the decor.
