Nous sommes sincèrement désolés que votre expérience n’ait pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes et prenons votre commentaire avec beaucoup d’attention. Votre ressenti, notamment au regard du positionnement de l’établissement, nous interroge. Notre hôtel s’inscrit dans une catégorie proposant un certain niveau de services, d’accueil, de restauration et de confort, qui font habituellement l’objet de retours très positifs de la part de nos clients sur l’ensemble des plateformes d’avis. Vous avez attribué des notes faibles concernant l’arrivée et le départ, sans toutefois en préciser les raisons. Après vérification auprès de notre équipe, aucun temps d’attente particulier n’a été constaté lors de votre accueil. La collaboratrice qui vous a reçu connaît parfaitement l’établissement depuis plusieurs années et son professionnalisme est régulièrement salué. J’ai également eu le plaisir de vous servir personnellement au restaurant lors de votre dîner et d’échanger quelques mots avec vous. À ce moment-là, votre table nous avait laissé l’impression d’un moment agréable et convivial, ce qui rend votre retour d’autant plus surprenant pour nous. Vous évoquez par ailleurs un manque de personnel et laissez entendre qu’il pourrait s’agir d’un choix économique. Nous souhaitons vous assurer que ce n’est absolument pas le cas. Notre établissement n’a jamais été aussi bien doté en effectifs ni autant investi en frais de personnel, précisément afin de garantir un service fluide et attentif. Les situations d’attente sont aujourd’hui très rares. Enfin, la note globale attribuée à l’équipe nous surprend, compte tenu des nombreux commentaires très élogieux que nous recevons régulièrement à son sujet. Cela ne remet naturellement pas en cause votre ressenti personnel, mais nous tenions à apporter ces éléments de contexte. Good location, easy check in. Quiet and cool during the heat wave, but good location to carry on journey south

Dear sir, 10/10, super! Indeed, you were here during the heat wave and air co was more than welcome in the whole hotel! You are right, the Mercure Lyon Est Chaponnay is well located on your way to the south of France, Spain, Italy but mountains as well. It is very accessible and in addition, we have a large and free carpark, so as a electric vehicle charging station. See you soon then Elodie Hotel Manager

I don’t like being harassed to provide bank details by email prior to my stay, I’ve never had this issue before when staying here. I also don’t like being threatened that you will cancel my room if I don’t provide it. The room was not as good as before. The air con did not work well, the room was dirty and shabby.

Dear Madam G., Thank you for taking the time to leave your review following your stay. Surprised by your feedback, we inquired with our staff. Indeed, our apprentice told us that she had mistakenly requested a bank guarantee by email. A guarantee is required for new guests, and you had indeed stayed with us before. Following your return, she apologized for the inconvenience. I therefore find the word "harassment" a bit strong. My colleague's intention was absolutely not to offend you; she simply made a mistake. These things happen. However, we would like to apologize once again for this incident. Regarding the cleanliness issue, please excuse us, the message has been forwarded to room service. Have you forwarded this information to our reception? Indeed, we could have offered various solutions if necessary. You seem disappointed with the room. The only difference from your last stays is that you had a family room that meets the standards for people with reduced mobility. Is this a problem for you? If so, we can add this information to your guest profile. In our hotel, we only have three family rooms, two of which meet the standards for people with reduced mobility. Since our family rooms are on the ground floor, it's logical that some meet the standards for people with reduced mobility. With only three rooms in this category, the likelihood of having one of the rooms with a bathroom for people with reduced mobility is quite high. Our technician has been notified to check that the air conditioning is working properly. Your satisfaction remains our priority, so we remain open to any further feedback you may have.
