I spent about a week at the Movenpick for a workshop.The hotel is conveniently close to the airport and has a hotel shuttle every twenty minutes.The rooms are spacious and comfortable enough for a business trip.The conference room is adequate and the staff are very friendly and helpful.The breakfast is standard.

The rooms and alleys are very outworn and below standard ;( No equal value for the price paid Staff at restaurant and reception unfriendly - no sign of SWISS hospitality

Great stay. It is a well located hotel next to the airport and had a sound stay. Big comfy bed, lovely breakfast, great Japanese restaurant on site and plug sockets for multiple plug types to work from! Sadly not enough time to enjoy the sauna or casino!

Ah Business - Confirmed reviews ALL

I was fine with the room and overall stay (thank you for the upgrade) but I am VERY unhappy with the Shuttle (and the communication around it) from the airport: Situation: previously you had the shuttle departure times on the website, but that's not available anymore. So I called when my plane touched down and the receptionist said there will be one "in 20min just for you". This was at 10:20pm. In combination with the lack of published times, this conveyed to me that the shuttle would be sent for me specifically. I am NOT expecting VIP service but if you say it on the phone, I need to count on it. So I arrived at the stop at 10:39pm and the shuttle left before my eyes. a) too early if the scheduled time was 10:40, b) definitely not personal for me (which again I am not expecting but it was conveyed to me that way). Especially on a cold night in November, it DOES make a difference if you need to wait for the next shuttle or not, so it would be good if the management would NOT put pressure on drivers to be over-punctual. To make it worse, I called reception to ask about the next shuttle. He said max 10minutes, so I requested the GVA transport card to take a public bus. Instead of simply fulfilling my request, he made an active effort to convince me to wait, because public would make me arrive later than waiting for the Navette. This was not factual, the Navette took another >15min and the next bus would have gotten me to the hotel much earlier. If you try to be smarter than your customer, do it only when you have the facts right. I know this sounds pedantic as we're talking about 20minutes here, but yes it DOES make a difference at 11pm in November when you have to get up early the next day. In summary, Management please encourage drivers to not leave BEFORE planned time especially on the very late slots. And receptionists, my vanity level is zero so please don't try to give me a pseudo-VIP impression - especially when it cannot be fulfilled. Thank you for considering this specific point. The rest of the stay was fine as I said, though overall it is obvious that the cost reductions and hiring of temp staff are brushing off on the overall quality perception (I probably said this before). Smelly room service trays left on the corridor for eternity have been a good Mövenpick tradition since 2020, so I will not try to change it as it's obviously futile.
