We have booked two rooms with privat bathrooms. The sizes of the rooms and bathrooms were as expected. The location and the parking options were good. The option to have our dog with us was great. If I look like that, someone would think, the hotel is great. BUT, the digital key for one room didn't function so we couldn't enter the room and guy and girl working in the hotel couldn't fix it so we had to call them few times to open the door until we weren't ready to go to sleep. Additionally, in one bathroom, the water was going into the room directly from the toilet. everything was wet. THE WORST PART, no air in the hotel. No air in the rooms. Door of the rooms can't stay open to refresh them. The hallway was without any air since no aircondition in the hotel. non. nowhere. do not stay in this hotel if it is bellow 10°C (because you will be cold) or above 20°C (because you will be hot). It was not possible to sleep during a night, because the window couldn't stay open either. I have never experince such hotel! Additionally, empty fridge to buy food or drinks. and hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so no option to buy anything. everyone was tearsty because of the heat in the hotel, but you couldn't buy anything to eat or drink. at the end, we went with the car 20 min to Basel to eat and drink there.

The room is so hot, that I felt like a chicken inside a oven. When you open the window you have the f1 experience, non stop car noises.

We stayed at the hotel just for the night en route with our family. The gate was closed, as was the reception. Check in at the machine failed for a vague reason the machine could not specify. Turns out I had received an equally vague email during the day that some guarantee would be needed. It did not not specify how to give that, and it was weird as I had already given my CC details. But somehow, this blocked me being able to check in. Ringing the bell for help didn’t help much either. I girl come after waiting quite a bit, she asked some questions, and wend to her desk. I was not allowed to follow her inside to sort things out. Meanwhile, my family was outside in the car in front of the gate getting roasted in the hot sun. Turns out she couldn’t help me (“didn’t you receive the email message?” - turn out I did, while traveling, and as stated it was rather vague) and I would have to wait until the reception opened. At least she did open the gate so we could park and get in the shade. Once the reception opened it was sorted quickly. The room itself was ok, but it has NO en suite toilet or shower. Just a sink. That’s not ideal with small children who you’d rather not have exit the room at night unsupervised just to go to the bathroom.
