Perfect stay in the center of Charleroi! Easy to park. Staff was very friendly and helpfull, I received a very nice clean room with a big Tv :) due to covid breakfast option was really well organised, lot's of choice and delicious and definitely more then enough.

the hotel is quite new and modern, while due to Corona a good breakfast is not really available, also the roomservice for dinner is not comparable to restaurant food quality. The staff is very friendly and competent

The location of the hotel is very good, nice hotel. What was the best during our stay was the friendliness of the staff, more particular the girl behind the reception. She apparently was alone at the moment we arrived, but nevertheless she was willing to make us a mocktail, bring our dinner to the room, .... She was the best I have encountered in a very long time, kudos for her customer service skills!

Nice room, okay breakfast, also in covid period. Hotel is directly attached to the central square, easy access to surrounding restaurants. Very nice shower but it was flooding quickly. Told the receptionist and they said to address it asap.

Normally, upon arriving your customer everything must be prepared especially at this time of pandemic which each one must have social distancing. But when I get entering to my room although its nice and clean, I saw a paper cup with coffee sachet, sugar etc. but never I've seen any kettle boiling water and no bottled of water at all. I've stayed for about 4 days but never anyone putting outside my door a coffee sachet, sugar & bottled water. You know in the business the very most important is "Customer Satisfaction" the payment has no issues at all. Thank you,..

Worst Hotel Visit Ever

When we checked into our room on the first night the room temperature was 22* and I set the room temperature to 18*. By the middle of the night it was 24* and very uncomfortable. The first thing the next morning I went down to the front desk and asked for instructions on how to set the thermostat. It seemed pretty straight forward and I have used numerous thermostats in many hotel chains on several continents. The front desk person showed me how to set the thermostat and my wife and I left the hotel for the day with our dog. When we returned in the evening the room temperature was 25*!!! We asked for a different room and were given the room next door and experienced the same thing the next night. 25* at 2am. For the third night we were “upgraded” to a suite and that room was 26* in the middle of the night. I took time-stamped pictures of the thermostat showing 26* and a setting of 18*. When we were doing our late check out Monday evening, the room was 20*. The technician had come and fixed the hotel’s HVAC. The manager(s) should have called the technician over the weekend. It probably isn’t even legal to leave my dog in the room with the temperatures of 26*. The local animal cruelty prevention society would take my dog away, fine me, and send me to jail.

Very nice hotel in the hart of the City! Good parking under ground, on the parking of the shopping center. Everything just around the corner. Unfortunately during this stay Gym was closed and breakfast was very small because of corona measurements! But staff was great as always!

Booked this hotel out of curiosity. I know Charleroi from a distant business past ... The late 90s .. So I was very curious how this notable city in Wallonia had evolved. Through my hotel choice "Novotel in the brand new Rive Gauche" I already had an idea that something was really being renewed here .. Arrived at this hotel, as an "Accor Gold Member" we were spontaneously upgraded to the suite ... Always gives a pleasant feeling. As well as the "Free Welcome Drink". The Suite was spacious and very comfortable. The bed was quite small for this huge space. (I think a 160 cm width) Bathroom with bath and shower. Separate toilet. The bar was also quite spacious and had an extensive menu. “Happy hour ” daily The staff, all fairly young, give this recent modern hotel that youthful, playful atmosphere. Breakfast was as we expected from a Novotel. Everything I need in a breakfast buffet was provided. So we really enjoyed our stay at Novotel Charleroi.

I had a very good stay an the Novotel Charleroi. The location is excellent. Close to the train station and to the commercial center. It's very clean, quiet and friendly. The only thing that I thought was missing..... free weights in the exercise room.
