I checked out of the hotel and called 2 hours later to say I had left some laundry is a laundry bag. The person who took the call said they would check with housekeeping and someone would call me if the items were found. I have since called twice to no avail to speak with someone who cares let alone helps. Hard to miss the items in a very expensive one of a kind laundry bag and 2 expensive shirts so my only conclusion is the staff who found them took them home so in fact they were stolen by staff so it appears thieves are working in the hotel so probably best if you put all valuable in your safe or they might be stolen.

We would like to clarify that the laundry bag and clothing you left behind on 16/06 were found by our housekeeping team and placed in our Lost & Found storage according to hotel procedure. When you contacted the hotel on the evening of 17/06, our Housekeeping Manager was not on duty and our team asked you to wait until the following morning so that the items could be formally identified and confirmed. Your belongings have never been missing and remain available for collection at the hotel. We therefore regret the accusations made against our staff, as the items were properly handled and secured at all times. Please contact us to arrange collection or shipment of your belongings. Only needed a room for two nights so didn't used any hotel facilities. Room was good - large, clean, comfortable bed. But the basin in the room was awful - such a bad design, no plug so one washed with running water. Not very environmental. And who wants to be watched doing their teeth?
