As someone traveling to Belgium for the first time and looking for hotel accommodations, this location was extremely disappointing. Please do not let the photos and reviews of this place fool you. Service was poor and the room itself was even more disappointing. We didn’t even stay a night for a four night booking. If you’re traveling to the area, I would recommend looking elsewhere first.

Close to Charleroi Central, trains and metro for sightseeing. The room was well msuntsined 1980’s standard Ibis with some extra power cords for heating, fridge, if needed, and TV; adequate plugs for charging. There are good eating options within 3 blocks although the restaurant u visited warned me of local pickpockets at night: not that I saw!! This is my 4th trip to Charleroi: the area near the station and general sense of safety are greatly improved!!

Initial room was unconfortably hot and the only light switch that worked was the one by the bed. The team listened and were able to move me to another room for the remainder of my stay

The hotel’s location is definitely a plus , it’s very convenient for reaching both the bus and train stations in a short time. However, unfortunately, that’s where the positive side ends. The rooms have very poor sound insulation; it’s quite disturbing to hear noise from neighboring rooms, especially when trying to sleep. The furniture feels low-quality and basic. For longer stays, the lack of even a small fridge is quite inconvenient. Although cups are provided, no complimentary water is available offering at least bottled water would be a simple but thoughtful gesture that wouldn’t add much to the hotel’s cost. Cleanliness also needs improvement. The curtains were visibly dirty, and I noticed some stains on the bedsheets. Breakfast was another disappointment: the setup was messy, the bread was hard and far from fresh, and most concerningly, food items like bread were left uncovered, attracting flies. Overall, while the location is excellent, the poor room conditions, lack of basic amenities, and unsatisfactory breakfast made my stay quite disappointing. With a bit more attention to cleanliness, comfort, and detail, this place could easily offer a much better guest experience.
