Dear fellow Heartists, I just wanted to say thank you for a very nice stay in your hotel! Thanks to the attentive and kind staff that was always available, for very nice breakfast, clean rooms. Also infinite thanks to the wonderful lady that checked me in a few hours earlier upon my arrival - I didn't expect I would be able to do that. You literally, absolutely saved me by offering this to me! I hadn't slept for more than 35 hours at that point, worked a full day then no sleep and travel, changed planes, felt absolutely exhausted and dizzy. You literally saved my day, my sanity and gave me a chance to have a walk in Berlin later on in the evening, which I originally thought I'd sleep through. :) Staying humane to clients and deciding upon the situation is the key in our job, and I'm so glad to stay in the hotel that values this human aspect more than anything! I stayed in the classic red ibis earlier this year in Berlin, not far from your hotel actually, and it didn't have anything nice... Staff were arrogant and they didn't care whatsoever. Keep it up! Next time I'm in Berlin, I'll come back exactly to your hotel and will also recommend others to prefer ibis Budget at Alexanderplatz to any other hotel. 😉 If you ever travel to France, please don't hesitate to let me know - I'll be happy to welcome you in our small ibis styles Sceaux hôtel, about 30 mins away from Paris! Stayed for 2 nights Around 900m walk from Alexanderplatz.Tram station just outside the hotel.Edeka supermarket at a walking distance. Super tiny rooms , smallest bathroom. Super small bf restaurant with limited food options. This is a very basic and typical business hotel but super expensive. This place is not recommended if you intend to spend most of your time in the room. This is suitable for business purpose. Reception staff is cooperative but with missing smile.They did help to allocate room for early check in. Apart from proximity to tram station ,supermarket and distance from centre , there is no other advantage to stay at this place.

the staff was very friendly . the room was very clean . public transportation easy to find and to use BUT the noise ! this Ibis is located at a very heavy traffic intersections, our room was on the loudest side: we could hear ambulance, police sirens , cars, etc all night long . we had a room on the 6th floor and it was very warm but I couldn't open the window because of the noise ! there was NO phone in the room , since the sink was clogged I had to go to the reception to ask for help 6 floors down . I was told someone will come by 10 pm . we waited all evening and NOBODY came to fix the sink. it was fixed the next day .the room is so tiny , the shower is next to the bed ! there is no closet either . we went to Ibis before but this one had the worse location I could have

The price of over €150 per night is not even remotely justified. The rooms are minimally furnished and offer no comfort. That may not be the aim of the Ibis Budget concept, but then they shouldn't charge such a price.
