I arrived towards the end of a brutal heatwave in Berlin. The hotel's Aircon had been fixed but was taking a while to cool the rooms so it was a bit uncomfortable for the first night, this improved though. I've seen reviews that complain about the staff being rude and that's unfair. Yes they're clearly overworked but they're very helpful and attentive. Me being my usual klutz, I managed to cut my finger on a hair clip (of all things) and the staff got me a bandaid. Another member of staff showed me that the nearby circle K was selling slushies. We'd returned from a very hot stomp around Berlin feeling a bit heatstroke-y for a shower and a lie down, so this was very helpful. Reasonably priced drinks and snacks, decent coffee. Didn't have breakfast as we don't do hotel brekkies, preferring to wander around and find somewhere local. It's right next to 2 main tram lines and easy reach of Alexanderplatz so the location is great. My room had a great view of the TV tower.
